If you'll take the time to thoroughly read that post (I know it was long, so that might be asking a lot), you'll see that I said that you were tryharding yet had BAD reads. I think other people who are trying less are playing better. Hence I think you are trying to look like you are solving and struggling. Hence Mafia, since a Jester wouldn't bother trying to look like solving.

I guess maybe there's an argument for a jester trying to look like Mafia by intentionally making bad reads and tryharding. But Occam says bah!

Let me break it down a little bit further. Jesters have no real incentive to try or look like they're trying. If anything they want to look like Mafia.
Town wants to either blend in with the Jesters and not try or try and sort people.
Mafia wants to look like Town, but they aren't so they struggle.

You can throw in layers of WIFOM if you want, and say really Jesters want to look like Mafia who want to look like Town, so jesters want to look like Town. At the end of the day, the above still holds though. The only reason a Jester would want to look like Town is so they get scumread.

Speaking of: Jesters now have to townside.
