I feel like it doesn't make sense for me as scum to not let DEB hammer Zoraster yesterday, that's a pretty big one.

I was the first person to back away from pushing Zoraster after he claimed.

I did have a heavy hand with the Akarin wagon.

I had a strong town read on BBmolla, and BBmolla wouldn't have pushed me until a scum died because he wouldn't wanna deal with pushing me until a full case was there, so that Night kill makes no sense from me.

That's the leap I'm not understanding. This seems to me to be a lot of burden of proficiency stuff. I have't played with FL, I have no preconceived notions of them except one time I played with boonskies and he was an idiot and an asshole. I don't see a lot of reason to think "you would be great if you were town" is a real argument.

They're seperate items. I'm not sure about my scum!FL read. There's enough for me to scumread him, by the post I quoted. There's part of me that is very unsure about it. And FL is so confident he should be townread, that i'm genuinely interested in the 'why'. It might help me see their PoV.

And this is just a 2-sided game at this point. Either there's scum in the FL/Nancy camp, or there's scum in 'my' camp. I'd love to be able and sort that out.

I’m getting extremely tired of having my reads be constantly discredited as either OMGUS or pocket. In both PA and CoD, this isn’t how he approached my slot. Yes he was tr me in CoD but the basic difference between this game and this one was that my tr on him felt far more like a Stockholm Syndrome type of thing as I only tr him out of fear because he kept jumping on me whenever I disagreed with him on anything. That’s definitely not the case here but like I said, this push on him by both of you without imho just cause is making me me dig my heels on town!FL because it’s not making any sense to me.

Tbh, I'm not paying much attention to your slot, but if Ico points it out, I will answer. It just baffled me a bit that he missed my early D2 push on TGP, so he would know that I'm more inclined to TR you for scumread on TGP, even if it's only in Ico's mind

Ok so i'm reminded of Large 230 which had us argue for 50 pages, and you were town in that game.
If we consider this possiblity then the outcome of Ramcius being scum rises exponentially. As it reminds of what ABR was doing in that game where he would protect you and you got pocketed hard by him because you needed allies to keep pushing me and Nero Cain even though we were both obvtown.

Jingle largely agrees though we talked about tracking the night kill, trying to figure out who would have shot BB. He's not an obvious shot, and that can really say a lot.

Don’t ask him to link a scumgame. If he’s scum, he’ll just link to one that looks like this, and if he’s Town he’s more likely to pick a random one that won’t represent anything in particular.

I hate this sort of faux meta. You either do the work or accrue it naturally over time. Cherry-picking just leads to bad or random reads.

One thing that keeps bothering me about TGP is that he keeps being super confident on his reads despite being wrong. He did that with both me and Ram and now FL. I think think he sounded salty when he realized I was obvtown and of course there was the whole “I think you’re awesome and cool thing while insisting I was scum and eventhough he did clarify the Noraa read for me, why did he try to initially make it sound like scum!me had ever fooled town!Noraa rather than talk about the one game where she was scum and me town and also add something along the lines of that she also could possibly be wrong on me based on playing scum with me? But he didn’t clarify that until I outright pushed him on that.

Also Norwee’s reasons for tr him are superficial - not shading Norwee here - just that his stated reasons don’t justify the extremely strong tr he has on that slot.

This is why I mindmeld with Ram and am reluctant to push Akarin because I’m not completely convinced that it couldn’t have been an attempt to possibly chain mislynches on Akarin, Ram. I’m currently null on Akarin and if TGP is scum, because the Akarin push happened right at the start of D2, a temporary bus isn’t out of the question but for now I lean more to her being LHF but it’s extremely weak. Ram is strong town for me now.

I would say that molla’s ISO looks the worst for him and a claim of a one shot neighbourizer with 0 confirmation from the neighbourizee, isn’t really convincing for me.

Also, the most compelling reason that Norwee gave for tr him to me was the whole Ceph thing but there isn’t any reason that scum couldn’t have also have done that. In my most recent scumgame, I had absolutely no problems finding really townie sounding reasons to find reasons to tr certain slots and considering that Zor was very likely the leading wagon, why not do that to get towncred? Point being,

finding decent reasons to tr a dead townie is NAI if you don’t really try very hard to actually stop that wagon

. He never did anything to do that at all iirc. And I still maintain that if you’ve been wrong on a player twice in a row, you don’t sr them with the level of confidence he did me without having a hard guilty.

Contrast that with Ico’s push on me, while it was obviously dead wrong and fmpov very silly, based on what I’ve seen from him today a very clear effort to sort me. I guess the main reason I’m tr Ico’s push was because it was him who came to the realization I was very likely town and unlike TGP didn’t weirdly seem unhappy about that, rather almost relieved.

So yes, sorry @Pine, I would still like him to link one of his scumgames for me, which doesn’t mean I won’t metadive him.

I think this is kind of an odd response to my post because my whole point was that even if the IRL life stuff is real, I'm scum reading what she has done both in terms on content and how her team is interacting with the game, and I think specifically the use of the aggressive AtE is more scum indicative than town indicative.

There were far more obvious targets for the NK, Nancy. That’s why it surprised us. Hell, if I were scum, you’d be dead right now. I always prefer to kill the unpredictable elements. FL, Shea, even a strong player who hadn’t made an impact yet like Ico or I makes sense. A mid-pack Townlean? That suggests scum have a medium level of experience - avoiding the obvious protect but not really targeting a long-term mover. BB was always going to get sorted quickly, either graduating to obvtown and becoming an existential threat or continuing to not do very much and fading into the background. He was an awful NK, unless scum felt personally threatened by him. That again suggests scum not at the top tier. Hell, those facts alone cross FL and Shea off the list, and point again to people like Norwee, Akarin, and TGP. Mistyx made the list due to her teammates. Alisae probably would have advocated offing me before I got really involved, so I’m not sold. Then again, e might have written me off as replacement bait or a potential mis-elim so I dunno.

I wrongly sr Misty through most of Pokemon Battles and she is pretty much playing identically here. Yeah, those 3 slots is likely where my vote will go. I really liked Norwee on D1 but his OMGUSSING is getting really ridiculous. Shea’s case on Akarin is very compelling and certain things about TGP still weird me out. DEB elim I see as pointless today and no one else is currently pinging me.

re: my Molla vote, I had intended to come back the next day and talk about it. It was partially POE, partially to see if a wagon would start there because it was time to change gears, and I also wanted to see how people reacted to it.

Need to look at that in more detail after I sleep but Pine's reaction puts him back into the pool for me.

I also townread people I was already townreading, so that's not helpful.

But I don't really think anyone jumped on me quite the way I was hoping for. Zor's vote on me feels pretty shruggy.

This might not be relevant but I actually said something similar in one of my earliest scumgames, about hoping I’d get votes, right after I got several at once.

Now I know that some players helped by seeing who jumps on them, Auro comes to mind but he usually tries to make a scummy sounding post to get reactions as opposed to making a comment like this after the fact.

So the idea I had when I made that vote was that, in that gamestate it was about time to change up the wagons. People had been giving me shit about not explaining the Ram vote (although I

So I was thinking it would be a really easy thing for scum to shitpush. Same idea as the deliberately weak argument to see who pushes on it tactic.

I think deliberately acting scummy is a really bad strategy because how do you know it isn’t town jumping on you? I find it far more helpful when I get jumped on for something inadvertently NAI because scum love to jump on that in general more often than town but if you actually do something scummy, than I think it’s reversed.

As much as I hate to think this, I find it extremely difficult not to be persuaded by Shea’s case, especially when my re-ISO and teammates are in agreement. See DEB might have done a lot less but what little he has done pings town to me, so activity and post count aren’t the issue for me. I disagree with Gypyx that the role itself is necessarily scum indicative but if he isn’t using your hood to help solve the game than something is awry imo. I also found his FL push really strange. He seemed to be trying to get him limmed without explanation and just as suddenly completely dropped it and even more bizarre no more mention of either Akarin or Ram, so I think Ram may definitely be onto something with his initial TGP suspicions.

Norwee wagon is bad because I straight up asked Pooky if Norwee was scum and he would have pushed for that if he thought so because Pooky caught scum!Norwee in Dung Beetle 1, so I’m no longer interested in that wagon.

I think it’s more 50/50. NM was town neighbourizer in PyP. I think it’s not a good idea to sr the role in itself. Is TGP using the hood to help solve the game? According to Ico he isn’t, so his behaviour is very possibly scum indicative in that case. Town neighbourizer either uses the hood to sort his hood member or if he already feels confident on that, to help solve other slots - unless he srs him. If he isn’t actively using the hood to try to advance the game, that’s a definite red flag.

It's more about Ico's claim that TGP is barely using the hood. So he neighborized Iconeum for what reason? If i had that role i would for example use it on a townread to create a sub-masonry. Use it on a scumread to find out more about the slot in question, or just use it as a way to solve the slot.
If Iconeum is correct then TGP is not using it for the reason they initially claimed. (to solve Iconeums slot through the hood)

A short timeline of what happened in the TGP hood:

-he invites me, and opens with a post that basicly says that he hooded me because i'm not a lurker and sorteable. He also confirmed his action.
-i spammed quite a bit of my thoughts, some of which were aimed at baiting a reaction and weren't entirely truthfull. I overstated my scumread on you (but still, i had every intention of poking you today)
-i made a remark of how terrible of an idea it would be to push you today in the current gamestate and that it would result in a total shitfest (who could've imagined that lol)

-TGP basicly agreed with my take on you, that pushing you today is a bad idea but that he would also be interested in poking you to get some AI content out of you. He suggested a D3 join-push on you.

In short, when the environment seemed to turn 'ripe' for a push on you, he came into the main thread and just joined the push on you. No discussing it in our hood, no agreements, no shared thoughts.

That felt incredibly opportunistic to me.

I don't really scumread DEB all that strongly, but i didn't understand their lack of proactive behavior up to this point. Although i don't dislike that they have a town stance on me as i don't think he would have that if Pine is scum here.
Given a comparison to Akarin/Pine he is definitely above those slots. In which case it could be something like Pine, Akarin and between TGP/Ramcius instead.

That’s actually a really good point because it was Jingle - a player who’s especially good at catching role type softs. Like if a player such as say Noraa had made that post, I’d think nothing of it but Jingle is actually one of the most likely of players to have caught that molla soft.

I hydra’d with him in RS2 and he caught Amrun!scum specifically because of her suspicious tracker claim. Now he’s not actually in this game and he very possibly might not have been paying attention but I think if anyone should have caught it, it would be Jingle. If Jingle were actually in this game and said the same thing, I would definitely be suspicious of that.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking for so i’ll just share my read on TGP generally.
After Shirou told me more things pointed to TGP being town during night 1 which i’ve already shared i thought they could be town. But after TGP’s lack of activity, reveal of lacking hood activity by Iconeum. And a reason to believe some slots i’ve scumread could be town they’ve somewhat shrunk in my reads.

His weird progression on FL I also don’t get. He initially tries to drive a wagon on him with no explanation and just as suddenly does a 180 on that, also with no explanation.

There were 2 kills last night, confirming the presence of an SK or Vig, and Chem claimed Vig unprompted at the beginning of the day phase.

Tracker/OddNightCop/BGTreestump is too much power for a micro town even if Chem is an SK (which is pretty lol given that he shot Haggle and the public flavor has 0 indications of an SK role).

Tracker/OddNightCop/BGTreestump/Vig is power heavy for a mini.

Amrun scumclaimed.



Also, even if Chem is SK, the way the claims happened, he has to shoot for scum (which will be either 1/3 or 2/3, depending on Amrun's flip) and scum will have exactly 0 reason to shoot anyone else because Chem is the obvious scum nightkill.

If, somehow, Chem is groupscum fakeclaiming vig to preempt a town counterclaim screwing him (ballsy, but possible) Gamma and Uncrowned are both reasonably likely to be the vig right now and clearing up that WIFOM is low EV. If notChem has a shot remaining, they just shoot Chem overnight, so that self resolves.

In addition, I townread Gamma, Nancy locktowns Gamma, and the PoE supports Amrun scum from that simple angle too.

FL's townread on Pine is likely wrong. Pine's read on the gamestate is wrong. Ramcius is wrong and should be ostracized for not even attempting to solve slots.
It's not likely all 3 of them are scum, but don't expect them to have good reads even if town.

Have trouble sleeping, oversleep. By the time I get to the game again it's like noon.

I don't feel like I've had a good night of sleep in a month.

At the same time I don't really want to replace out.

But I have in the back of my head when the time to post is, keeping thinking I'll do it before then and keep putting it off. Then I panic post around when I need to to not get prodded.

Game gets upsetting, and I say I'll come back to it that night.

Can you run down the case on TGP for me from your perspective? It's another slot I've kind of lost track of.

I’m just not getting the sense that any of his reads in this game are genuine. The Noraa thing for one is beyond wack. I think he maybe didn’t expect me to challenge him on it and backtracked but it read to me more like a manufactured reason to keep me as a potential sr later on.

There’s quite a bit in his ISO that townpings me and I made it a point of bugging Pooky to give me his thoughts on Norwee and he wasn’t sus on him and I don’t see why he wouldn’t be if he were scum, because he was practically clamouring for his head in Dung Beetle 1.

I still think Pine could be town but apparently not as confident as you are. I also don’t know why Dannflor is supposedly the Norwee read whisperer? Pine claimed to put a great deal of stock in that read when Pooky doesn’t share that pov. And obviously I’m going to trust Pooky. But not a single one of my teammates are pushing me to vote Norwee, so why do you think that is? Yes, all of them are more paranoid on you and Pine but I really hard tr you here, so I don’t know. Oka thought TGP was being weird which matches up with my read on him. Far too much isn’t adding up for me with them. Some thoughts from Reck:

1) He thinks bbmolla's entrance with calling FL scum that can be left for later is super weird and pithy but he's getting idgaf vibes from him and he thinks that's town lean. He thinks there's negative points for voting pine for lurking/not posting yet.

2) He thinks FL open claiming scum in post 54 is exactly the kind of ballsy wink nod play that FL gets away with as scum all the time.
