skitter I'm very interested on us discussing what are "consensus town reads" in this game, and why rather than dropping names you leave the remark on that and consider benching to implosion which is a popular scum read.

i perhaps kidna mispoke, what i was trying to say was: many, many people have been expressing the vibes that they dont' really have any scumreads, and they townread everyone except like ben/nm and like a couple of other names.

i don't think the game is that easy, and that we're all right, which means we're going wroing somewhere

sorry if i helped make you feel that way, shirou. i don't think your walls are a waste, i don't wanna make you feel like you need to simplify your thoughts for us, i just don't really have experience trying to solve the game At Once and i'm often not sure what to make of such solving.

This has an added benefit of publishing ben's townclears for his potential n2-3 nk death (scum have minimal means to generate nonlethal visits in this setup) without endangering roles that he viewed that might be more powerful than him.

how does this publish ben's townclears in case he dies? tracker can't clear anyone (except in like edge cases, i think one of them happened last run), and we wouldn't even know who he really targeted if he gets killed before he tells us? or am i missing a lot of things here

also a Read Triangle wouldn't help shirou here, it isn't designed for gamestate reads ;_;

Ok, I messed up the mind math. It still does the other part where it hard guilties or clears his own slot, and I don't really want lim like a compulsive friendly neighbor/guilty neighbor day 1.

A big part of losing my townread on implo is that the scumreads on him seem facially unfair but he is not the least bit butthurt about them. In purgatory he was still all cool enough but I felt like I remember just a little bit of underlying butthurt over being scumread any as town.

I'm quite low on energy to do much but etc.

I absolutely used to get butthurt about wrong scumreads on me but I think that part of me has died down a lot over the years, probably mostly from playing social deception games irl where you're actually playing with people you know and etc. It annoyed me in the past particularly if people didn't have any reason but at this point I like, understand the reasons generally and in this game they've generally been reasonable places to come from, they're just incorrect.

I haven't gotten much townvibe from S_S's posting (not mentioning all the weirdness early on) and I feel like in the past I've always found him very naturally town as town. So. Disinclined from dropping the wagon.

I also have noticed that my wagon is kind of strangely not gaining any traction. Which is also kind of weird bc I haven't been a paragon of innovation in the past day or two, I have been pretty lurky. I don't think there's necessarily a deep reason for that though. I think scum might just be scared of making big shifts in the potentially fragile gamestate or like, getting caught partnered with S_S if he is scum. If he is scum they're probably assuming he's not living to endgame.

Why would you not read the setup? It’s a randomly generated setup and understanding how it’s created seems somewhat important for people who care about that stuff - not me.

so you're saying intelectually there's likely scum in the nullish/negleted slots? because there's not many consensus town reads and I don't think people are "town reading everyone except some names"

I don't want to talk about what it's optimal for scum to do here mechanically for obvious reasons but it's another reason I think there's a flaw in your plan which we could theoretically talk after a massclaim if we're even alive by there.
