You get to see into an inventory and steal a peach. I'm guessing it allows town a way to forcibly check peach claims if scum are lying? Like there must be something about the interaction with watcher right? Or we have unclaimed power, but it kinda seems like peaches aren't required to activate power the way I initially expected.

Yeah, peaches don't seem to serve any purpose besides forming these pies which allow you to steal from others and view their inventory? Maybe there's more to the inventory mech, but I'm not super sure.
