As in, could I get your take on the claim? You said andres is obvtown. What's your take on the neighborizer stuff? You agree with andres that GC is possibly scum coming off that? Different take?

Well the claim is most likely real unless Datisi is his partner. It is possible that he is a scum neighborizer, but I was reading him town outside of his claim, so I'm fine with the claim.

I assumed the reason he didn't want to out who he neighborized was because he didn't want Datisi to die in the night and I don't really see a reason he would do that as scum, unless he's not really a neighborizer. When he was at e-2 and was being askeed to claim who he neighborized he wasn't cooperating, as if his goal isn't necessarily to survive. Also, neighborizer would be a foolish fakeclaim.

OK, I reread the game where Dunn was scum with me and now I'm less confident my memory gave a good recounting of his play. He definitely lurked and avoided any serious scumhunting, much like he is doing here.

But he was slightly more active, particularly with me as his scum buddy. I'm less confident now this isn't just Dunn being lax this game (and I'd love if that could stop if you're town!)

In other news, midway was in that same game, and I'll say he comes across much more loose in Mini 2195. Midway is even aloof that game. Granted, this was like a year ago and maybe he has just gotten more focused in games. But I don't feel that same looseness and willingness to say something "wrong" from him.

Yes, you're right. That was when I was a hyperposter(sorta). Nowadays, I don't really post as much, and my meta has gotten much more "safe". I tend to go back and forth a lot as town now, and I definitely would do that as scum too.

Not sure if I should be townreading 2219. Definitely think town would be frustrated with the state of the game while scum are probably happy. I get that it is easily fakeable from maxwell, but I don't know if he thinks to say it as scum. Actually, it probably is just NAI, but I won't delete this out.

Also, I think RLotus has a point about GC being stubborn to claim. I think when you're in the spotlight as scum, it generally isn't your first inclination to be uncooperative about it. The tinfoil counter is that it was scum theater which I actually might consider given how weird Andres acted. Idk it seemed like Andres got really worked up about GC which seemed somewhat out of line with my expectations.

Cookie Monster in their latest reads list has {Elements, VPB, Datisi} as Scum. I seriously doubt this is anywhere near correct. I have had my share of doubts, but I do think Datisi and VPB are simply trying to figure out the game. Interestingly enough, from looking back, Elements had a really good view of the game in 1451, provided you make a few assumptions. I do really think Duchess v. Green Crayons was SvT. And perhaps Green Crayons was just getting annoyed at me for pushing them in the way that I did.

I just read VPB’s ISO. And you know what. The fence sitting that RLotus and Elements described. The opportunism. The shiftiness. It really actually is there. Even today - VPB’s top SRs were Dunn and Elements. But then there seems to be some momentum against midwaybear (who btw they had near the top of their pyramid earlier in the game). And where does VPB’s vote go? There. They defended Italiano, and couldn’t see a Scum perspective. But where did their vote end up D1? And what was the reason? For “information”.

There’s something that’s been nagging at me. VPB has been trying to subtly discredit me for the longest time. Some discussions with RLotus immediately spring to mind, but there’s numerous instances of this. And they have been trying to instigate every major conflict in the game I can remember.

VPB has been sarcastic about arguments against them. But doesn’t seem to have any sort of solid stances I can recall at all. They all shift when convenient. You are seeing it with midway now. When it became obvious RTP was Town, they TR there, but not without encouraging whoever might have a SR there. Happened with Italiano too. And I suspect it’s happening with Dunn.

Cookie Monster’s reaction just on this page would be amazing coming from Scum. It would be fantastic theater from a player that hasn’t completed that many games. I think it’s genuine.
