You've misunderstood. I have a council vote in play - my point was that there's no need to be MORE hesitant about a council vote than an elim vote, and if there is a difference it should be in favour of making council votes.

Your council vote does not exactly "seal the deal". If you are concerned about an elimination before a council is found you should probably not vote some for elimination until the council

I do agree with Enchant's plan to appoint one council member first, on the simple basis that voting one person is more feasible than voting a three-member combination all at once

as for how the remaining 2 are chosen, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it

In green, you seem to be arguing from a starting point that the potential scumslip is a towntell, and eventually concluding it is NAI. Which is the opposite angle to the one I was taking. Can you explain that approach?

It's really pretty simple:

Would Town do it? YES (I often do, because I speak from my PoV).
Is it a Towntell then? NO, as Scum could try to emulate their Town play too.
Result: It's NAI

Well, the closest to a TR aside from the above is Raya I guess, and I won't fight against an Enchant council membership, but then I feel like I'm "giving in" and when that happens I am highly likely to misread a scumster as a townie.

1. BM is null for me. I don't know why you all always think he is townie, because he looks like townie almost always. I really dislike how he trying draw Artemiana in Council, and finding excuses for that. Like really, he say like with T-Bone he can read Artemiana with easy (she didn't post anything an moment of Council vote). And then, after that, BM asking "Do you think it will be easy to read you?" which sends me off. Then there's another "I townread her because of Gut". I find this strange, like he really trying to draw Artemiana. But...

Probably they are not partners. As i said, Council become useless with just one mafia in it. It have zero sense to try draw partner, because it only gives unneeded attention and you already gain info like who council will protect/tract. So, probality of them both being mafia... Is minimal.

I agree with the first paragraph. Nice analysis. I do not agree with the last 2 lines though. I have a theory myself, and it relates to how >I< would play the game if I was Mafia (which is almost always not what your analysis leads to), so let's say I feel better about Enchant but disagree with his reads (or rather the way he reaches them anyway).

P.S. If someone wants elaboration on how I would play the game as Scum, feel free to ask. If I get 3 requests I will explain. If not, then the Town has deemed it pro-scum to reveal my line of thinking and thus will shut up about it.
