Thanks for the speedy round, everyone. It is now the Evaluations Phase. I'm giving you all five days to do your turns, but since I'm assuming Nancy Drew is no longer on V/LA, we will be going back to 24 hour turns during the potions phase and 72 hour turns during the evaluations phase. Nancy, if you're still on V/LA, let me know.
Farren, Nancy Drew and Inspiratieloos all drew 2 Black 1s. Unfortunately for Farren, he's sandwiched between them and doesn't get anything. Nancy Drew and Inspiratieloos both
move their start token forward 1 space
.
The last two chips Farren drew were both green, so he receives
2 rubies
.
Felissan landed in a ruby position, so she gets
1 ruby
.
Nancy Drew and Farren both earn
3 victory points
and get
15 buys
. Felissan can choose to get either
15 buys
or
3 victory points
. Inspiratieloos can choose to get either
16 buys
or
4 victorry points
.
Farren and Nancy Drew, since you tied for the most progress without exploding, you both will get to roll the bonus die (1d6).

The V/A will actually need to be extended into mid-April but I’ll try my best to not let it impact the game too much.

In post 116, Farren wrote:
Normally, when you draw a chip, you have to immediately play it, like so:
Farren draws an Orange 1; Farren plays an Orange 1 and moves forward 1 step in the cauldron.
Farren draws a Bomb 3; Farren plays a Bomb 3 (whether he wants to or not), moves forward 3 steps in the cauldron, and is 3 steps closer to exploding.
etc etc.
When you draw a blue chip, you can choose not to play the next chip you draw. That chip goes back into the bag instead (where it could be drawn again on a future turn).
Farren draws a Blue 1; Farren plays a Blue 1 and moves forward 1 step in the cauldron.
Farren draws a Bomb 3. Farren uses the Blue 1 to toss the Bomb 3 back in the bag instead of playing it. Farren does not move forward in the cauldron, but does not get closer to exploding either.
It only applies to the next chip, so in circumstances like these, its power doesn't help.
Farren draws a Blue 1; Farren plays a Blue 1 and moves forward 1 step in the cauldron.
Farren draws an Orange 1; Farren could use the Blue 1 to throw the Orange 1 back in the bag, but why would he do such a thing? Farren plays the Orange 1 and moves forward 1 step in the cauldron.
Farren draws a bomb 3; Farren plays a bomb 3 (whether he wants to or not), moves forward 3 steps in the cauldron, and is 3 steps closer to exploding.
Note that the Blue 2 is a little different. Using the above style:
Farren draws a Blue 2; Farren plays a Blue 2 and moves forward 2 steps in the cauldron.
Farren then draws two chips: an Orange 1 and a Bomb 3. Farren uses the Blue 2 to toss the Bomb 3 back in the bag instead of playing it AND to play the Orange 1, moving 1 step forward in the cauldron.
Or ...
Farren draws a Blue 2; Farren plays a Blue 2 and moves forward 2 steps in the cauldron.
Farren then draws two chips: a Bomb 2 and a Bomb 3. Farren uses the Blue 2 to toss both Bombs back into the bag; he makes no progress but does not get closer to exploding either.
Or ...
Farren draws a Blue 2; Farren plays a Blue 2 and moves forward 2 steps in the cauldron.
Farren then draws two chips: an Orange 1 and a Green 1. Farren cannot play both; he uses the Blue 2 to toss the Green 1 back into the bag AND to play the Orange 1, moving forward 1 step in the cauldron.
Basically, after you draw a Blue 2, you draw your next two chips together simultaneously and may play either zero or one of those two chips, with the unplayed chip(s) going back in the bag.
I will probably pick another black one and am trying to decide on the 2nd.

Alright thanks.
Take 1 black and 1 blue.

That's only a d14

No, you should roll all your dice at once. This isn't to see if you explode, this is to see if you get a Blue 2 or a ruby. So just go ahead and roll a 1d13, 1d12 and a 1d11. I'm going to extend the deadline by 12 hours since the site was down.
