Note that the Blue 2 is a little different. Using the above style:

Farren draws a Blue 2; Farren plays a Blue 2 and moves forward 2 steps in the cauldron.
Farren then draws two chips: an Orange 1 and a Bomb 3. Farren uses the Blue 2 to toss the Bomb 3 back in the bag instead of playing it AND to play the Orange 1, moving 1 step forward in the cauldron.

Or ...

Farren draws a Blue 2; Farren plays a Blue 2 and moves forward 2 steps in the cauldron.
Farren then draws two chips: a Bomb 2 and a Bomb 3. Farren uses the Blue 2 to toss both Bombs back into the bag; he makes no progress but does not get closer to exploding either.

Or ...

Farren draws a Blue 2; Farren plays a Blue 2 and moves forward 2 steps in the cauldron.
Farren then draws two chips: an Orange 1 and a Green 1. Farren cannot play both; he uses the Blue 2 to toss the Green 1 back into the bag AND to play the Orange 1, moving forward 1 step in the cauldron.

Basically, after you draw a Blue 2, you draw your next two chips together simultaneously and may play either zero or one of those two chips, with the unplayed chip(s) going back in the bag.

Blue seems pretty obvious? You don’t have red so orange does nothing and green gets worse the more chips you have, every other chip costs more than 5.

No, you should roll all your dice at once. This isn't to see if you explode, this is to see if you get a Blue 2 or a ruby. So just go ahead and roll a 1d13, 1d12 and a 1d11. I'm going to extend the deadline by 12 hours since the site was down.
