in a game where 3 votes is hammer I strongly agree with declaring intent. One of the other two people may not have been ready to hammer, and this gives them the chance to come in and voice their agreeance with the hammer. For example, of I hadn't unvoted, and you came in and voiced intent to hammer lila, I would've have definitely unvoted, as I stated in my unvote the lila vote was an RVS vote to spark conversation, and I most definitely was not yet at a level I was comfortable being a part of her hammer

In fact, I'll come straight out and say it for the paragon's benefit. Hammering without an intent and a few hours to allow that intent to be known is a straight up scum-claim.

however, unvoting once an intent to hammer has been made without substantiating your unvote is also at least decently scummy, as it literally takes the entirety of the town to agree to a scum lynch, and an unsubstantiated unvote after an intent is a sign that the unvote could've been a soft-bus.
