anyways im the ic now everyone give me a list of how you thought about approaching this game, tackling all the conditions, what you did to advance the town win condition etc.

I deliberately put a birthday that I (assumed) would display during the game, that was not my birthday, deliberately put pronouns not my own, which I planned to obsesively correct people on.

all in an attempt to obfuscate my identity. Those familiar with me are familiar that idgaf about pronouns and will answer to any situation where I am the clearly indicated party, even though I am trans-femme and go by female pronouns.


all of these were ways i came up with to deliberately misconstrue my alt identity and it was apparently, successfully working

i can give an example of what i did that nobody can claim because obviously nobody did it

i thought the biggest threat to a town win condition was the paragon guessing alts, so i intended to play this game as an AITP type game where we only vote and no talking and just leave the game to chance. but i didn't know how to try and get everyone else to play aitp without revealing too much, so i introduced a gimmick and tried to subtly hint at the idea of playing this aitp style. additionally i did do some strategic posting to mask my identity a little further. but other than that, i felt town had a pretty bad chance to win this if played normally. best chance imo was playing this randomly because i think paragons win more than 50% of the time if you give them the time to alt guess since they know the pool they are guessing from and we all have somewhat distinct playing style and from my experience, alt slipping is very very common. and if like two people alt slip i think the game is as good as done.

I also deliberately ego-posted on my main against my better judgement, and against all previous examples of me using an alt on site, because I was deliberately trying to get my main-ego to implicate some other alt as me later the next day.

I think Klaus is town also with the way they panick'd as soon as they alt-slipped, I don't think it's a scum reaction to want to self-vote out to prevent a loss via paragon altguess because mafia lose when they get voted out, it doesn't actually matter if the alt-guesses go thru.

Oh, I also reached out to both Kison and Zoraster about receiving the "Unofficial Site Contributor" skittle, which has no access or permission different than any other regular user, on my alt account, for the duration of the game so as to further lead astray my identity, as why would a secret alt get a skittle color unless their main was skittle, and while both found it immensely amusing and wanted to, they both could not in good conscience do so

No I didn't try to imitate anyone in particular because I felt it would be wifomable.

my plan for hiding my identity mostly consisted of:

Only logging in on Internet Explorer to my alt account, my IE doesn't have login info for my main account so no chance of alt slip.
Having my Alt/Main be logged in simultaneously so there would be no pattern created.
Varying my activity so it would not be guessable which time zone I lived in.
Restraining myself from posting.
Going for early hammer intent to limit the time the Paragons got to alt-guess.
