I remember reading the announcment liek a year and a half ago, but I haven't played any games since then. the first time i slipped it i beat myself up both because i felt bad because of site-wide meta change reasons, and because it outted who I was quite clearly.

this is literally the first game I've played since the meta-shift, and I've been trying to use "hammer" every place I'd use lynch, because I didn't know what the site-meta alternative was.
