i have never played a game where anyone pushed a role claim at L-2, nor does it make sense to claim that early, or for you to push that hard when he didn't.

If you read the thread you would know, but it was because he was one of the most opportunistic among the SSK wagon (the most being retro, who has meta reasons to back up that being normal for him)

that thread did not at all help your case. everyone in there said only claim when you have something that will hurt the town to lynch, and when it is inevitable to stop a lynch any other way. now do you really think at L-2 when very few people are questioning him, its inevitable to avoid a lynch, and thus needs to claim immediately?

9 pages is not near enough information in my opinion. think about this... if the next two posts voted thegeckoj and lynched him, no matter what the alignment, what information would the town have to base stuff on for the rest of the game? from my experience the town does better when they get plenty of information from D1.

right now retro hasn't been active in a while, and he seems to have been one of the most sospicious players when he went V/LA, apothocary has 4 posts, chaosomega has 3 posts, K7 has 9( but by doing a PBPA you would realize very few have content), Mafiassk has 9( once again he has contributed nothing), Sineish has 7 and hasn't posted in 4 days, spamwise has 5 votes, and thegeckoj has 9 but most are useful. now if you take off one to two from each to accommodate the random votes the do you really think you have enough info on everyone to proceed to D2? the only think that will happen is a lot of claims of lurking on D1.

so no i don't think we are ready to end D1

I don't see what you are hoping to accomplish by extending the day either, besides maybe stalling out gecko's wagon long enough for him to get out of it without real reasons. If we are ready to lynch gecko now, the only thing that we are really going to gain out of 2 more pages instead of 12 is a bit more time for him to claim.

I think we have. Usually, I look at those trying to stall the wagon on a person, try to derail the wagon by attacking the attackers, etc.

im trying to do what i feel is best for the town by getting more thoughts and information from other players.
