If I'm any scum faction I want to remove variance. As a terrorist, the scum faction is variance. As a scum faction, the terrorist is variance.

If you're either scum faction you want the other one dead pronto. It's as important as trying to hunt for power roles among the crowd and killing the people that are making your life hard.

i would not be pursuing that strategy at this point if i were them so it's possible the actual terrorist subscribes more to my viewpoint too

i think the terrorist needs town to be busy looking for the mafia for as long as possible and they should side with whoever's losing

i guess if i were looking for someone playing the way i would want to play 3p i'd look for someone who was hiding early on but may have been trying to town it up more recently as the scumteam have been doing worse

but i don't know that seems like a pretty iffy thing to pin all my hunting on

I actually vaguely remember how mastina spew'd both Joq and marry. I actually can't believe I forgot this but I actually think this reason is enough for me to work with marry being town

A lot of it is just personal mannerisms/tells but also I feel like mastina was truth-telling when she said marry and I couldn't ever be scum because we were bouncing sound waves off each other or whatever. Like it was wild but it was the kinda shit I don't think ppl can make up I think she really saw it that way.

Part of how mastina plays scum is she tries to twist the truth so I think your read has merit to it.
