What is your Favorite Candy ... ?

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Sun Dec 05, 2004 3:10 pm

Post by NanookTheWolf »

Believe it or not this thread does have some reasoning behind it, my use is mainly in hopes that my polyana posts his/her favorite candy to eat so that as I can add that to the package ....

If anyone else wants to post what candy they like most, you all are more then welcome.

Favorite Candy? Can't resist that. But there's so much to choose from. Let's see, I like:

Gummy Bears
Milk Duds
Nerds
Starburst fruit chews
Tolblerone (or however it's spelled)
Who the hell is "General Failure", and why is he reading my hard drive?

The very best are Hershey Nuggets with Almonds & Raisins.

But I'll also never pass up:
Skor bars (Heath will do in a pinch)
Peanut M&Ms
and Fast Break candy bars.

And I really, really love those candy-covered Reese's peanut-butter eggs that are available at Easter. Why on
earth
don't they have those in the store year-round?

Quag: You smear yellow skittles all over your face?

I'm not too much of a candy fan myself. Hmmm...

Jelly Belly's are good (especially butter popcorn flavored)
Strawberry gummi candies.

halfpint likes chocolate. :)

Candy? Cotton candy.

That'd be my second choice. My first choice is dark chocolate.

But I'm not too crazy about candy. I'm a sucker for mandarines though. If are a chick, and you want to take me out, buy me a box of mandarines, and I'm all yours.

Yes! I was just thinking about those earlier today. They do have them for other holidays, I believe. I'm pretty sure there is a Christmas one.

Oh, I forgot (strawberry) Twizzlers! Oh, and I'm allergic to nuts, so that eliminates a lot of options. :(

Very many LOLs for pwnz.

I like:

Gummi Bears
Reese's Fast Break
3 Muskateers
Whoppers (Malted Milk Balls, etc.)

The only things I can't stand are sour candies and peanut brittle. Blech!

Mmmmm - me too. Forgot about these.

But it's awful when you get one of those empty whoppers. It's so disappointing and nasty...tastes kinda like chocolate silly putty.
CoolBot wrote:The mini-Reese's PB cups - for some reason they taste better than the regular ones.
Dirge and I have had many conversations about the various incarnation of Reese's and the merits thereof.

I'll tell you why they're better: the chocolate to peanut butter ratio is higher...and a little less peanut butter is perfect.

The opposite is the reason that the Reese's Christmas Trees and Eggs are worse than the regular cups -- because the peanut-butter content has gotten out of control and nearly taken over....same for those horrible "inside-out" cups.

Yeah - intellectual debates are what keep our marriage together.

Oh, I thought those were the "Eggs" you mentioned earlier. I prefer the Eggs and Christmas Trees... and Pumpkins. But, I also like the mini cups, and especially the Reese's balls. Who am I kidding? I like anything with the word Reese's on it. (And yes, that does include Reese's Sticks, the inside-out cups, Fast Breaks, and dark chocolate cups... not so much the white chocolate, though.)
