and what if you start with 2 and gain one in a phase

so you'd go into night with 3?

So what if Stealing N0 was the only way to get your cop result on the first night, would you steal then?

Morph claimed it happened to them, and without claiming the exact result, Arte claimed what was done and then Morph confirmed that was what happened.

It's a confirmed ability, minus the 2 of them being scum together, which is already a possibility that doesn't need that gambit to be true.
