I don't understand this sentence, you didn't hammer? And it's not like anyone had a chance to react to Toog?In post 4023, Bell wrote:You’re accusing me of stalling their wagon by asking for a claim before blind hammering them.
You did exactly what I would have done as scum, which is vote to not look bad while trying to give a buddy a chance to claim-

I was saying that I prefer people claiming instead of them getting blind hammered.
I would have given lip service or said something more to cover my ass if I was scum. But that’s my wifom explanation. I could get into the internal thought processes for each when I get home though if you’d like, and by you I mean everyone else who isn’t scum.-

Ah yeah I mean this is not unreasonable. It's just weird that you voted while also seemed to be trying to stallIn post 4028, Bell wrote:I was saying that I prefer people claiming instead of them getting blind hammered.-

At this point in the thread you should not be caught up enough to see that it was a fake guilty, why do you think you would be eliminated over a guilty?-

If he was coming from a townie perspective, he might be in more of a "it looks bad for me but I should look for scum anyway" mood.In post 4026, Bell wrote:What I don’t get is why scum kitty would pick a fight here. Lld is fresh off a kill and I’m both defensive and easily sortable.
Which is why like, his not changing his read on me is bad, but his sudden read onto you is worse. I don't care if he's "just doing a wagon analysis".
He's got no vote down and 2 people he's calling scum, and those 2 people have reasons made of nothing. Like for all he complains in his post that he thinks I lacked substance in killing Anya, he's the one with nothing to say about either of us. You can see it both from his reaction to the pressure and his interaction with you.
You give him one good point about what you did on the wagon and all he can say is
"uhh well that's not unreasonable but I guess I still felt like you were stalling?"
which is code for
"uhh I'm caught in an obvious falsehood but I have to defend my mental perspective or I'll confess to being scum?"
It's not a good look.Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

Yes, but I'm also thinking about how Fate used to play these games? In post 4037, morph the cat wrote:Do you want our sword?
We have the duty to hand it to you this game, while things are as they are.
yesterday was a great example of using the skill and position I have, and I'm wondering about that "day 2" comment people were making.
I wonder if I don't switch up enough Day 2 to keep scum on toes. I feel like I don't start re-evaluating reads until I see a town flip.
... which might be a fine practice anyway?Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

In regards to murdercat, even "just looking at the wagon" seems to have completely missed the context of us being on the wagon until we asked for the hammer, then toog lolhammering.
So I mean there was a "let's ISO every player on the wagon as posted in the final vote count" without looking for ANY context about how each person got on and more importantly, who got OFF and why.-

Like (sorry lexi I really thought you'd picked up my signals that I was faking and to play along) I'd argue our fake inno on Mara was a pretty major pivital point of the wagon formation on Anya (In that it caused you to look elsewhere and find anyascum), that and our full-throated defense of Sigmund caused the last few votes to trickle in.
But murder's analysis skips all of that.-

This is fine as far as it goes-- Bell's interactions with Anya, in a vacuum, would indeed be highly suspect. In post 4022, MURDERCAT wrote:It's an analysis of how Bell interacted with Anya. Read that quotes list and tell me the interaction doesn't look bad? I am only focusing on Anya at the moment
But, you can't base a read entirely on interactions with flipped scum, especially in the case of someone like Bell. So if that's not what you're doing, then you really need to be more clear about that. It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!-

You are all free to flip me, my role is useful but I am worried about creating a false guilty with it so I have idled both nights.
I'm not going to change my style of play to please you. But at least let me finish my analysis before you flip me.-
