Theory.
Ircher is an jester that does not have the ability to vote any players.Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

Nope, just Yin.In post 1397, Morning Tweet wrote:Hectic used to like Jesters but i *think* they fell out of favour with him. Don't quote me on that tho
I feel more strongly that killing Ircher is beneficial to us
pedit: Wait has Ircher never voted anyone?-

Less attack, more "shading", but you get the idea. Why do that as Jester? In post 1404, Morning Tweet wrote:I don't think he's a Jester, he still maintained a semblance of playing and tended to attack the bigger wagons. Doesn't make sense if you want those wagons to live.-

I could actually see Hectic putting a role like: "'Disabled voting' bulletproof jester" in the game.In post 1402, Tanner wrote:the scumteam is only jesters, and our goal is actually to yeet townies and achieve parity with jesters don't @ me
Or something like what you described considering it's been an actual game.Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

I think if Ircher were protown he wouldn't be secretive about his role, as he has been. He's not working with us -- instead trying to get out of the game without sharing any info.
Why do it to the people who have the most heat on them?Ydrasse wrote:i mean, if he is a jester isn't shading what you want to do? like, subtle and not in your face
but tbh at this point ircher is clearly in our faces so ...
As jester you wanna be loud, surely! And probably not against the scummiest people in the game. Ircher's play lines more up with hanging back, to me..-

I'm convinced something's influenced Ircher to play this way.In post 700, Ircher wrote:
Not really. I'm trying something a bit different this game; a bit more of an advisory role so to speak. In post 672, clidd wrote:Ircher, do you have any takes on the players so far?
I don't remember you expressing your impressions yet.
I still feel like his intent was to blend in and play with us though. Take this post for example, he's preemptively covering up that he's going to play weird..-

I’ve seen this in one game I was in.
Also this one. I don’t think there are any roles that specifically involve self-hammering though.-

There just seems to be something really fucky about Ircher's play, and i'm brainstorming the possibilities.
Theory A: He's an vengeful that wanted people to vote him so he could kill who he reads as scum.
Theory B: He's mafia that's just playing really weird and suboptimally.
Theory C: He's an mafia town PR enabler who dying would be beneficial for scum.
Theory D: He's an jester and he can't place an vote, explaining his weird behaviour, lack of focus on scum hunting, only voting for an NPC to hide that he can't vote. Etc.Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

Do you think it could possibly have something to do with his role or just a conscious choice? In post 1410, Morning Tweet wrote:

Either way he's been doing it all along. I think it's more likely his role -- that would explain no early game vote and why he was hyper fixated on the mechanics from the startIn post 1415, Amy Dunne wrote:

I really feel like his intent was to seem like he was contributing
Whatever it is, it's not protown. If we're gonna be punished for taking him out so be it and I'll hammer or whatever but i don't think he's going to be jester.-

This makes me think something bad will happen if he self-hammers.In post 1350, Ircher wrote:Intent to hammer. Speak now or forever hold your peace.-

I don't think Ircher is on the side of the town. So either he is a third party role or mafia. So i wouldn't hate an elimination there considering he doesn't seem very eager to explain himself.Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

I'll wait a bit more, but my role is on Ircher in spirit if this keeps up and he still doesn't post.Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

Yeah makes sense, if was jester, he would just straight up self-hammered instead of just threatening to.In post 1416, Morning Tweet wrote:
