My gun to head now is that Esooa/Dannfloor/NSG/redtea contains all 3 scum, listed by strength of read.
I had some lingering suspicions / pings on Dannflor earlier. Nothing coherent. I'm feeling better about him now; getting a sense of what he looks for is one of those things that's +Town.

can you explain this read with some specifics? how much of it is based off of a meta experience with esooa
Town esooa likes to get into fights and thunderdomes, scum esooa likes to stay away from that, both are aggressive though usually, but scum esooa notably is not as much so or rather can be passive and let others run the show.
In our scum game, I was mostly pulling the strings and pushing town to mislim eachother while esooa just sat back and took potshots and such.
Sorta feel same vibe here.

I DO see a world where I'm just being a paranoid idiot and it's just straight up something like T3/Farren/Enchant
my reads are very much not set in stone rnow.
I'm kind of waiting on a lot of stuff™ at the moment but I'm going to try to solidify some of my thoughts tonight because the deadline is shorter than i realized
right now I'm most concerned about falling into the trap of looking for the hardest possible scums, which is something that has been affecting my games negatively recently. which means i have to work through paranoia regarding slots like you and NSG without confbiasing or overthinking myself out of like what should be obvious scum
like it's a situation where i think you've both been at the very least surface level towny thus far but you're also among the slots i'm most concerned I won't be able to read correctly if I'm not extremely careful - I'm trying not to let that veer into an automatic fear-based scum read if that makes sense
I already like townlocked Farren but this kind of like thought flow is a bit more blatant evidence I can show that might help others see what I'm seeing in terms of Farren being town - where Farren is not playing an agenda but rather displaying a "town genuinely solving" mindset where he is genuinely reading the game and processing what is going on in it.

Nope I totally understand and that's how I feel about your slot in kind.

koba, you've played one game with me in like 6 months. I was slanking the FoL game for obvious reasons. That's the biggest part of why I was less direct in it. And that's pretty much the same with my town game. My direct involvement is related to my investment, not alignment
past that I'm less thunder dome-y in general. He's my most recently ended town game:

In post 278, Dannflor wrote:why did you ask me specifically and why about this slot specifically? also if i may return the favor, thoughts on redtea?
i ask because i think there's a decent chance that you're both scum and in general i think that it's a decent strategy to force people you think are scumbuddies to talk about each other, but also if you're town i'd still be interested in hearing your thoughts on a slot that i think is scum.

Wow, I'm even stepping it up for this game already
How?
how would it be helpful? it would make it easier to read you. if you're town it would probably help you not get killed, thus helping town by preventing your miselimination.
oops, forgot to answer about redtea, although i have basically nothing to say there. from memory i have a vaguely towny impression, but nothing strong at all.

How do you be serious without becoming disinterested mid game :3

Huh, that makes sense.
does it?
I'm understanding half of it

ive been nursing a paranoia nsg read since basically her entrance but i think that paranoia was bound to come up at some point this game so im not really giving it any credence until nsg gets a chance to play more
what exactly pinged you about either of our posts?
to be honest, i'm not sure why i would be a "paranoia" read at all. really, i think that i've been townread far too easily and quickly this game – if anything, i would expect to either be basically null. of course, i don't think that my being townread quickly is necessarily the product of scum, but for you specifically i feel like i have memory of you by default being more hesitant to townread me in the most recent games we've played together. i feel like i'm not really seeing any of that attitude here, or i suppose i'm seeing less of it.
