I’m still not really seeing why DotW is town. Like I mean I had the thought of this seems like it’s losing for scum but like equally... if he’s scum then scum were just hard fucked this game from today and I can see the lack of motivation to post in that sort of situation because I’ve seen it before

Also, maybe this is me overreacting idk, but he made a post where it felt like he was trying to keep me available/on-the-table as an option and that definitely *seemed* to me to be a fairly key part of scum plan based on skitt’s approach to D2 and today before the guilty got outed, so I also sorta wonder if the plan in scum PT (and given scum!skitt there was a plan) was to mislim me but skitt ducked after the guilty (fair enough) and the result has been that DotW is trying to follow an outdated plan without paying too much attention to the finer points of what’s happening in thread?

If dwlee is scum then I think they’re playing around me quite specifically which is why I need opinions on them from others because I think I do significantly worse at spotting scum who are playing their game with me in mind

But I think I TR the reluctance to appease me when I was pushing them to do stuff followed by the eventual capitulation? Like it really felt like I had to genuinely drag out a willingness to do something and I’m thinking on a recent game where I was alting where I had a feeling when having a similar conversation with scum that the scum actually wanted to do what I was asking but needed me to argue with them more to provide them with justification for doing it, and that wasn’t the case here. Plus I did think that their reasoning made sense for “happy with how things are going and will do stuff later if it’s wrong” even while that’s not an actually good plan, I can see the logic if dwlee is feeling lazy

God I wish I had a better memory of how tryhardy they were in Ydrasse’s mini normal when town were getting wrecked

Day is tricky bc it’s hard to know if we’re dealing with scum feeling like game is lost and not trying to do anything because they’re demotivated or if we’re dealing with a situation where DotW and dwlee were mislim bait that scum just didn’t want to rock the boat on and wanted to follow the popular opinion, get those lims, and try to win in 3p

this is true that it isn't impossible for Ydrasse to do it as scum just cause she hasnt done it before -- my point is though that it's not consistent with her previous openwolf-esque games -- this one is different for sure

Yah I’m kinda circling to titanic if DotW and dwlee were bait all along, plus I think he’d feel sort of obliged to TR ydrasse if she’s town bc if he SR her then given his insane read rate thing on her she’d probably be calling him scum for *him specifically* SRing her here

Same thing as me thinking skitt was scum because she was calling me scum D2 when if town i think she’d absolutely have been reading me correctly there

So actually titanic’s TR there maybe might be true but might still be a motivated read? Also he’s not really... done much recently other than five that read and offer “will do tuff later” while having decent tone, but again, tone for either of those two is a useless metric

Tbh havent played with dwlee before and i tend to make scumreads not so much in the moment, its more judging the past and i mean their D1 was obviously pretty good, definitely didnt have to damn Ico if they didnt want to

beyond thtt though i cannot say if their tone/effort/whatever this day is more town or not -- it doesnt bother me, though

I agree with you that Dragon's sort of complete detachedness from the game could be NAI. It's just a bit odd i guess. i think his tone with you or whoever it was accusing him saying it'd "be a hard complicated game" was kinda gut level towny

pedit: I agree Titanic is locked into townreading ydrasse if scum very likely. His tone is good but i wouldnt be terribly surprised if he forged it

The most important thing I remember from Titanic is being swayed into voting Mena because he had decent reasons to say it's not Dragon/skitts/me as nonvoters. and we know how that turned out

and of course Skitts was very on board with that -- and skitts kind of hedged on Ydrasse up until today where she went hard on Ydrasse after the pressure was too great... whereas Titanic defends and gets to be "right" after she dies... idk seems plausible dunno if that makes sense

Why do you think this?

Part of it is as simple as if you think you've caught confscum you lim there, not the person you suspect they might be partnered with. But for this setup in particular, if MT's PR is what they say it is, limming scum!skitt now means one scum left tonight which, like Peta said, pretty much makes MT a cop by seeing movement where there isn't a PR claim. But by mislimming me, someone you're less sure on, you go into tonight with 2 scum. With 2 scum remaining, even if MT hits scum, they might not see movement because the scum they didn't target could've made the kill
