@Lukewarm, yes I isolated your point about Medea having both you and Manatee as scum reads because I did not like it. I can understand how you could feel it was cherrypicked, but after not really having a read on you for most of the game it was something that jumped out to me and I stand by the feeling I had that it was a weak attempt to get ahead of Medea's promised content given they had you as their only scum read and specifically Cabd's reputation of dunking his scum reads.

Idk maybe it's a trash take and this normally wouldn't be only thing substantiating my vote but I am really struggling to feel confident about any scum reads and want to just sheep my town reads, the problem being they probs just want me dead over anyone else.

In a section of the early thread where there was a lot of talk about slips and mafia maybe not knowing all the stuff available to know so far this post by sleez is interesting

It's a nothing slip. I think mafia can not read the setup as we've surmised already. I also don't believe mafia automatically start off as demons.

That's knowledge available in the opening posts: the mafia sample role pm, specifically.

Given unwnd has focused on the mechanic to some degree and has a theory and everything, this is interesting.

This feels difficult because so much of this game has revolved around my slot, and I'm tired and grumpy right now. I don't feel like I have a lot of objectivity in my reads.

I want to go ahead and give Annie Edison (as notscience) and Snarky Fishes (as ffery) some space for now. I'm not scum reading them at present, but I'm sure not ready to town block them.

Sleez has surprised me in becoming a town read here. I didn't like her first few posts (lot of implying reads without taking any kind of stances that might become inconvenient later), but she's moving independently here in a way that wouldn't be necessary as a scum player. She feels genuine and like she's actually evaluating what she sees being posted.

LLD, I personally haven't seen enough to have a strong read. I believe I brought up in my pre-game chat with Cabd the idea that she would be very likely to want to consider the alternate wincon if scum and that I'd expect to see her probe into it and the mechanics as scum for sure, and maybe as town. I would lean town on my own based on what she's reacted to here. So to answer your question, I'm not scum reading her right now.

Here There Be Dragons started out feeling town. I don't like more recent posts that are centering on mechanics. I'm reading over their ISO as a whole, and when I do that? I'm not too impressed. It might read better integrated into the game flow, but on its own, not so much. Go ahead and read it yourself if you're so inclined and then come tell me which players you think they're interested in and why. Upon reflection, yeah, right now I'd have them below null in a full list.

Pooky also started out feeling town, and I'm waiting to see if he can hit those notes throughout for me. Not scum reading him right now for sure. I have expectations of him that don't involve cults or chocolate.

It also didnt necessarily hurt anything and if a surge had gone through I could have easily un-sharded.

I know I have a habit of digging my feet in when people are being rude so trying to fix that+taking a second to be objective about it made Medea's point make sense.
