I am going to stop spamming the thread. My ideal plan is out there, and I think that it is the best path forward. It is founded on the basis that bork needed to give us ways to counteract the alt win con, and I am just choosing to believe that he did.

I have also voiced my top target if we don't go with my plan, so I don't think there is much more for me to add.

Uh, yeah I can't really relate even a little bit to being upset about this game set up and what not.
Kind of signed up for new things and sometimes these things don't work well. It's also entirely possible that town fucked up somewhere.

Also, did AA9 demonization time line get even'd out? I'm pretty sure we all know this, but if they were a demon day 1, they're just out right lying.

You would only be eliminated if we are wrong about who the scum is today. Otherwise they probably won't trade for you and we'll have to hammer them instead

This is not me upset by the set up, this is me excited to think that I found the ways that the mod intended for town to stand a chance against a scum team going for the shard win.

I was hard planning to just close my laptop for the night, but Cabd's last post peaked my interest. I might check back in later to see whats happening.

Alright well first off

As I've been saying since D1, I am a

human

shard vendor. I'm a one-shot however, and the number distributed is only 2. The kicker of my role is that if I become

demon

then I lose my ability entirely and just become a vanilla townie.

If you remember my theories and how I was treating the game, this was one of the reasons for them. I said it before maybe two pages back however that the 48 hour cooldown (actually it was 72, even worse) has left me abandon. I still have a lingering feeling, but I no longer have it in my memory banks

I was doing the things I was. Why I was reading them the same, too.

That doesn't displace it entirely, but right now I feel like I've mostly reset and am playing something close to D1, even if it's D4. So where does that leave me? Just going through the motions all again and acting on impulse. Spiffeh beat me to the chase in some regard but I do have a differing way of looking at it. The conclusions he wrought from the situation is..fine. I like the initiation at least.

Didn't Unwnd push back at me because there was a part of their role that hadn't been revealed yet and that claiming that part would play into scum hands? The reveal that they basically become a VT if demonized isn't something that seems like it would ever be to scum's advantage or play into scum's hands nor does that explain heir hesitance to shard Annie N1 which I kind of thought they were implying it did.

Spiff's role does not help against a scum team going for a shard win, because it only works if it stops a night kill, and a scum team going for a shard win is not night killing. So he would have to stop a potential (as of yet unclaimed) vig shot.

So 100% of town's ability to hinder a shard win (which is apparently very fast to achieve if not stopped) is tied up into one player, unless Manatee is the back up there.
