Why does a 1-shot cop and a reflexive rolecop make sense. If the 1-shot cop investigates the rolecop then it's a wasted investigation because the rolecop already sees who targeted him.

@Unwnd, okay but only some game designers think about one specific instance occurring and change the roles to avoid that one specific scenario from happening.
Like in part if Rhea is town it's slightly unfortunate that they visited Dunn because Dunn was already widely town read. So they didn't help narrow the pool any before checking Spiffeh (which helped quite a lot if their modifier does that). Though phobic still doesn't mean what their ability means. I think I already mentioned that phobic means to avoid. But the way it's being used in this game includes the trauma of he first event in order for it to cohere with the meaning.
It's pretty weird.

They have the introverted modifier, and they are a doctor, and no other abilities. (I can't see factional stuff.)

It makes sense to me? Miriam is powered up by shards, it makes her stronger. Investigative wise, mmm storywise? There's that level of discovery and mystery of trying to figure out and stop what the main antagonist is doing.
She hits the moon to discover that a demon is controlling her brother after all.
