Also, even if we did just want to make the numbers odd again, you probably shouldn't bring that up this early, because if for some reason people actually agreed to it, that would remove the threat of elimination and it would be pretty hard to get anyone under any meaningful pressure. It's just setting up the entire phase to be wasted.
