Could easily be scum, was debating voting based on lack of nancy, seems fine at the moment but I’d like her scumreads to not both be alts, and likewise for cakez- He goes on to say I’m still scummy but then moves his vote and doesn’t try to push me (while also questioning why I said I missed more engagement from him)

In post 14, Romance wrote:+Town points to Mom for joining raid first.
Why is this a town tell?

---

Mastina's role seems a little too good to be true. If stopping raid success is important to scum, then she could be dead soon. However, if scum don't care about stopping the raid's success, this could just be an easy attempt at buying town cred. This raid has the benefit of being +1 to applicable roles, but other raids down the line are likely not going to be the same and mastina's role might lose strength as well, but might have curried enough favor with either faction to maintain her presence. In other words, I still need to be made a believer based on play or as we eventually uncover more of the setup, and not on claim alone.

---
In post 105, Titus wrote:Btw, we should not have anyone from raid 1 go on raid 2.
In post 106, Titus wrote:Because scum either have to let raids succeed or give us information, we should not have overlap if it helps.
I'm not entirely sure this is a good idea. All this is suggesting is opening up the likelihood of scum being on raids regardless. It may be better to "vote" people into raids, though voting 8 people in seems a bit monumental of a task and a lot of time to be had. But really, the 8 people in the raid should almost all be people widely town read as best as we can get them.

---

I like this mastina post better.

---

Reads are in no particular order outside of their categories, and my reads are always fluid, based on my impression of the slot, and likely to change, especially on Day 1.

However I think I have a much better vote now.

VOTE: Qrow and Raven.
Pretty sure they're scum. Like, compared to the 1-2% of SirCakez and RealCheeks, this is a solid 50-75%. Not 100% for sure but pretty damn high.
(To be clear, these percentages are on a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 is neutral, dead-null, and 100 is guaranteed scum.)
This is further indication that mastina is town but I don’t believe her SR on us is real

-Qrow
I concur with this
Or mastina just RNGed it
this also doesn't vibe that well
VOTE: cakez

-Qrow
Maybe Cakez is just LHF as I initially thought since both Elsa and now Gamma are voting there when there seems to be enough interest in thread to lim there.

I very much like Mandelbrot's posts in the teens pages. There was a lot of discussion of alts and horseplay during this time, but House was all business here. I ended up skimming a lot of 11-20 because the discussion wasn't very serious. I went from liking to hating Elsa during this time though.

In post 516, Mystic Bears wrote:OK so Mastina claim problem, from the chaotically screwed up but mechanically functional mind of Flea.

Mastina's claim only gives us today as a solid success. Future raids are not locked in to be successful even with Mastina alive, I suspect the future raids will have different rewards.

So assuming today succeeds, I assume the mod has taken measures to prevent breakage of the game from this, and we only get say a maximum of 2 successes. Mastina's smart enough to not announce when the second shot is used, and can be on a raid that fails with plausible deniability.

Placing Mastina onto every raid to set a success removes a potential PoE tool for town.
A failed raid gives us a pool of 8 to hunt in, we know we have a minimum of at least 1 to find, and a pool of 8 is much better than a pool of 20+ even if we're looking for multiple. Mastina is a massive double edge sword here for this one reason.

Anyone townreading Mastina on claim credibility needs to step back and reassess if possible. Mastina's above null for me rn personally, but that's because I know she can powerwolf and there's something not sitting well with me with that firsts reads list.
Mastina doesn't need to use her ability to make a raid succeed I'm guessing, especially if confidence is high that most on the raid are town. This is why I postulated the idea that we "vote" the most town read players on to the raids. A raid failing that contains the most town read players outs deep wolves, which is a bonus. Having Mastina on raids though, whether she uses the ability or not can fux with scum through WIFOM if she is town. I don't think anyone should be on a raid though without receiving approval from multiple other players for being on the raid.

---
In post 532, tictac wrote:ftr multiple sum factions being in a raid and disagreeing on success/fail would lead to undefined behaviour.
so glaring design flaw in the ruleset or this is in fact single ball.
I don't think this is the case. I think that scum would likely know this is multi-ball based on faction sizes, and even if they didn't, all this does is reveal to one scum team that another scum team exists.
In post 546, tictac wrote:second:
In post 2, GuyInFreezer wrote:
If at least one member of the hostile factions are in the raid group, the said member will decide whether the raid succeeds or fail.

pedit @qrow
The quoted text is ambiguous. It states "factions" which can be inferred that multiple hostile factions exists, and hostile factions aren't just hostile to town. In multi-ball, or third party setups, they are hostile to each other as well.

Menacing glare at SirCakez

I will remove my vote before the hammer to stop any damages claims.
I don't even know what to make of your posts at this point.

---
In post 736, Mystic Bears wrote:Actually, going to correct this slightly,

How many scum are usually in a game this size? 7?
That's still 7:21/1:3. Drop that down to a pool of 8 and it's still much much easier to look at a pool of 8 over a pool of 20
I mean, if we want to math... only 1 scum needs to be on the raid to make it fail. So 1 in 8 or 7 in 21? What's better odds of finding scum? That being said, I still continue to push for only having the most town read people in raids for as long as possible. Force scum to let the raid pass or expose themselves as a deep wolf.
