Just as you arrive, you see the store girl closing what appears to be a trapdoor behind the service desk. Sarah, is climbing over the counter, and starts looking through the make up. Neither seemed to notice you come in initially, but after a while the store girl sees and welcomes you. The window has a clear view of the forest, the night sky and a path that seems to lead right past. The shop has a range of mannequins all wearing different and extreme styles. Someone's smashed a mirror in one of the changing rooms.

There is a fluffy antler on the sales desk.

You see Quentin walk past the window.

Sarah looks at you as if to see if you are still alive

discreetly smash mirror and pocket a shard of glass

[Battle Mage]

search the whole store for chainmail and shield - but just note where they are, without touching

[ambic]

The chainmail is on the rack, the shield is back on a mannequin.

[ambic]

XXL rack to be specific, St George Mannequin

[Battle Mage]

'accidentally' drop an item of clothing on the camera. distract Sarah and clerk, and then turn off lightswitch. Pilfer the chainmail first and then shield if lights remain off for long enough.

You turn the lights out, and hurry over the rack and grab the chain mail. Task 1 complete. You pick up the shield, and on seeing the size of it realise you wont be able to smuggle it. But you have the chainmail, concealed and ready to bring with you on your exciting journey.

The store girl turns the lights back on, and Sarah seems to know what you did, but also, doesn't seem to care.

[Battle Mage]

Go into changing room with unsmashed mirror, 'accidentally' smash mirror and take a shard of glass. Apologise profusely.

You somehow manage to break the mirror so silently that no one notices. You apologise profusely and the store girl just says “well dont do it again” but its clear from her face she thinks you apologising for a long forgotten phase 2 stunt

and drop UFO schematic

The UFO schematic is now on the floor.

Sarah starts to talk, when she looks up at the window at Blake standing on the other side. watching.

She carries on and says "Oh, I came in through that. Comes in from the Magic Store"

use trapdoor to go to magic store

[ambic]

The trapdoor leads to a mirror maze (long story), and eventually you step out of the Box of Disappearance.



You note to yourself the maze did seem to have other exits.

There is a magician here practicing tricks.

investigate saws and swords

[Battle Mage]

"Hey Ozob, nice to meet ya. just the two of us here today? what's with the frogs?"

[ambic]

Ozob says, step right up. Put something in the Box O' Disappearance and make it disappear

The frogs have a red laser beam between them that causes them to Croak when something walks past them.

There is a nice Sword for sale, and a Trick saw. The saw is blunt. The sword is not.

hand Ozob 2 aces

"I thought maybe you'd have a use for these? Can you show me a card magic trick?"

[ambic]

He makes them disappear, and they return as 4 aces. He hands them back to you.

"incredible, thanks! Have you had any other customers this phase? Seems quiet in the mall today"

"Yes, yes, She was here. She stepped into the box O disappearance, and she wenta poompf"
