Also, before anything else.. I want to rephrase my last post in the PT with Toog here, but it needs a short preface:

I was about to let Toogeloo advance for us both. I was weighing in on the pros and cons and thought my sacrifice should prove how much I believed he was TOWN-ALL-TOWN and that it should've made it easier for Town-aligned players to consider if that plan went through.

Unfortunately, Toog decided it was best that I advanced anyway, and pulled the trigger way too soon (like only 26-27 hours into the phase, so with 45-46 hours left to deadline)

At first, Toog thought the “disqualified players won't fie, and would in fact be put into a PT of their own. I entertained the idea for a little while suggesting if that was the case then those who advances will be appointed “judges” and those disqualified would be “on trial”.

Then Pooky posted his ammendment to confirm the disqualified players do leave the game permanently, and that was when I posted my final post in the PT, and shorlty after Toog posted his decision in bold.

Now off to the post itself:

I pointed out Pooky's clarification. I also noted he said “when ALL pairs have decided” which meant we won't know who did what beforehand (I had suggested we wait to see who leaves first and reevaluate our mutual reads)

I then tried to reevaluate with the available info at the time: 3 scums vs 9 Town meant either 3 T-T paors or 4 T-T and 1 S-S (with 3 or 1 T-S respectively). I said Scum won't leave unless there p was also scum, so 4-2 or 4-1 in the final stage if that's the case, depending on whether the Town player in the T-S leaves or not.

Then I noted that was assuming no two TOWNIES in the same pair SR each other enough to refuse to let one advance (i.e. both Townies decide to stay and they both get eliminated). That was too complicated to theorize, so I left it to the next step to discuss each pair independently.

Of we had 3 T-S pairs then hopefully the Town player will realize it and we could have won instantly by them refusing to let their Scum partner go through (in that case all we need was for ONE Town pair to trust each other and ONE player to advance from that pair)

Then I went for the specific paors with short notes:

Toog + A50:

A Townie advances for sure

Loki + Mama Ru:

Loki is the globally TR'd one of the two, so I hoped he would not let Mama Ru advance at all costs. Either Town Loki advances OR neither does

Enchand + DkK:

Same as above, except I

DkK won't let Enchant advance either way. So, another Town or neither.

Wheme + STD:

I TR STD and SR Wheme so SCUM or neither, but I was hopeful STD would realize Wheme advancing is -ve for Town EVEN if Wheme was somehow Town, so neither advances was my prediction

Math + Dwlee:

This was a foregone conclusion that Dwlee would advance here

Spamton + MT:

Now this was the most complicated duo, but in short if Spamton is Town OR if both are SCUM then MT goes through. If Spamton is Scum and MT is Town they're both dead.

I then requested Toog would adhere to these preliminary predictions to decide what to do next, noting that I was in no hurry to finalize the decision -in case I had some other notes- because (a) Scum may accuse him of forging my reads there (and Toog isn't exactly a debator) BUT my sacrifice in his favour should convey the message to Town players still. (Note above whom I expected to advance). I also noted the NO FLIPS part could be used by Scum to accuse ME of being Scum with Toog still, in which case he should have pointed out that “if that was the case then A50 should have advanced because he would be the designated deepwolf of the pair”.

I then asked him if he was ready to proceed, and before I knew it he posted the bolded “You go on for both of us.“ and the thread was locked.

I don't think Pooky lies to us about Scum not knowing what comes next, so I don't think Scum planned whom to advance. HOWEVER, looking at who sacrificed for whom I'd say MT followed by Loki should contain the last Scum/2 scums. I am willing to bet the game on STD being Town here, but still DkK is the only player I would trust.

I'm still having a hard time believing spamton was Scum. The FB trick being to frame a slot that will always be limbait is much more likely than it being saving a partner after giving another the chance to grab their own parachute.

I could be wrong, but I'm basing that on what I think I would have done there. In fact, I probably would have bus'ed spamton from the beginning and munched on the towncred for the rest of the game.

it seems most plausible to me wheme was scum, we misread STD, and.... well i dont really know where the other one is if MathBlade/Dwlee is truly TvT as Dk says. I know Math plays a good scumgame

Also the thread locking after a decision was made didnt make a lot of sense to me
