I didn't immediately order MegA's execution as a 3p and entertained keeping her around if she was serious. So clearly I know nothing about her alignment whereas your reaction was based on her being town or non scum.

A serious 3p claim should always be limmed, why do you not agree?

If you don’t have better options then yes because limming 3p is obviously preferable to limming town and especially closer elo but unless SK in a non-bastard game, 3p aren’t usually mafia.

Point, I’m aware of a game where a survivor probably did more to help the town wincon, then any actual townies in that game because in that game the 3p was clearly townsiding.

Survivor is kind of different cause it can win with town, but anything like jester or sk should be eliminated over risking an elimination elsewhere if outed. In a recent game with a possibility of a jester we agreed jester should just claim and we would lim them cause it was optimal

As for Dwelee, I would like to know why they believed the claim.

Jesters that aren't game ending and don't have consequences should always be limmed, as they can soak night actions or lose the game for us in ELO by self-voting. If I like spent some time thinking about it more maybe I'd have processed it as a joke but I was mostly playing game 3 and devoting all of my mental energy there instead so I read that and was like "??? Okay then"

It was non game-ending which is what I mentioned in my thing about limming Meg. The roleblocker claim I just thought was scummy because why would you randomly claim a power role. It felt like trying to diffuse the pressure on their slot asap

That's a misrep in that I believed Dwlee had the potential to be tmi'ing on MegA in whatever game MegA was Town in. You could read my posts BEFORE the MegA flip to confirm this. I'm more confident now that I was correct but less confident in WHICH game since MegA flipped town in both.

The demon lord thing is part me trolling and part a morbid curiosity which I find fun to poke. Im not 100% sure it's a scum ability but I'm leaning that way. Mastina claims to have explained why she believes it's a scum thing but I don't see anything definitive in her posts outside of it pointing to Meg being scum which is no longer a valid premise.

I agree it's not TMI, but it does have that characteristic of "Well, it's their fault they got limmed!" and I'm inclined to believe that attitude comes from scum more often than town. (Exceptions are when the player in question was being jerk to everyone, but that's clearly not the case here.)

No. Not all third parties are self-aligned. They should be limmed when it's in our best interest which is not always immediately. Scum want us to waste a lim on 3rd parties.
