i think at worst you kinda just opened the door for viability for malcom to be town there? not like explicitly shown that they are scum, so at least that is helpful in a town!malcom universe here.

the major difference i have noticed with town!nm vs scum!nm is that town!nm gives less of a shit in a way that is subtly noticable and that is kinda just indicative of him being uninformed kinda deal. as in, doing things that are crazy wont really fuck his wincon up etc. (he does somewhat wake up later game due to necessity), scum!NM, when his team is under pressure at least from what I've seen, shows ... extra effort that I don't exactly see typical of his town games.


I haven't exactly figured this out yet but this is the baseline I'm working with and i'm mostly seeing players around his slot as town so that is why I have a bit higher confidence on this than I would otherwise rn.
