And then Ircher brought up that Andante's played Grand Idea before, and as such shouldn't have been confused. This feels incredibly in bad faith, because the discard mechanic doesn't exist in regular Grand Idea, and that was the sole point of confusion.

In 我的 mind, if 你 can understand Grand Idea, then adding on the discard mechanic is not that much harder. Perhaps 我 am wrong about that, but that's 我的 stance.

ok well andante literally played pick your power recently and literally didnt understand that being firsti n draft means they can just have anything.

they arent stupid she just didnt realize it - and this is very plausible here. they focus more on the dayplay of the game as a player and let others handle mechs for them for the most part.

Calculus kinda blatantly tip toeing around the scum reads that get sent their way.

General vibe of the game so far feels very tip toe-y though. Idk what that says about the size of the guaranteed group scum, but I think this implies we might have several solo 3P who can't rely on a factional win if they die. Like I don't understand how we can have a 15 player anything goes Grand Idea Mafia game yet barely have any real pushes happen. Instead town reads are getting handed out like candy and the few scum reads we do have aren't gaining much traction.
