Basically jumping on the Arete wagon early yesterday, and then voting them once the CC happened. Like 0 defense of them which I would assume Arete's partner would do in that situation.

Basically jumping on the Arete wagon early yesterday, and then voting them once the CC happened. Like 0 defense of them which I would assume Arete's partner would do in that situation.

okay - idk if i fully agree that it was towny for penguin to immediately vote for arete once the CC happened, because i think that arete would likely encourage their partner to bus them at that point (since they were pretty much outed and always dying anyway), but i do think that penguin is likely spewed not partners with arete from the way that he consistently voted/pushed on arete throughout the game, particularly on d1, and the way arete pushed on him/framed him as a wolfy with timing that came off as opportunistic yesterday

i mean this conversation literally says "penguin town"

that is the context of the comment I am making.

if Penguin is town, that means NM should be Mafia since the last Mafia can't be on the Bus Side of the Ydra Vote, therefore the Last Wolf would be between SabiHydra / SPF if Catboi is town here.

The only scenario where SPF/SabiHydra are T/T is if NM/Peng are some combination of W/M depending on Catboi-town so I guess you always yeet NM if you think Sabi Hydra is town.
