I feel like his role would be designed to get a false clear from Voyeur via mailman action
Also think Ascetic makes sense to make it so the complex vig has someone scum it’d always work on given it’ll never kill the traitor

also don't forget that the traffic analyst is simple, so like half the chance his checks fail too

in theory, this is three confirmable town power roles (two vigs + friendly neighbour) plus additional clears from the ta

the issue being that all the roles are so gated, the game is swingy as utter shit

and in an average run, at least some of the complex/simple roles are gonna fail

so i might even say this is whatever, especially if scum is loaded, which they might as well be

I’ve read enough review PTs/post-game balance autopsies to pick up the balancers view any non-killing action by a scum as a “clear” to a follower/voyeur
(Well actually I just remember that logic from one particular game but I HAVE seen the design philosophy elsewhere)
