At this stage of the game, I would have just assumed it was RVS. Why does being okay with being lynched make someone town? I would never accept a lynch on me as we have MLs that I would rather use to lynch scum.In post 46, petapan wrote:

didn't say they were okay with being eliminated (that's another theory discussion altogether), said they were okay with being wagoned. can be feigned nonchalance but i'm choosing to take the easy answer for nowIn post 76, Bulbazoor wrote:

Maybe I read this post wrong, but I could sense a bit of worry. This is why I asked him why he felt the need to question this statement you made further. Seemed kinda self-conscious about how his vote came across. And then the jokey attitude he has had for page 1 and 2 are pinging me quite a bit as tryhard. I haven't played with him at all so I have no idea how he plays. In post 41, furtiveglance wrote:

I just thought the initial vote on you and then quick vote change to juice was odd. Not a strong scumread odd, but a "this seems impulsive, please explain your logic" odd. Turns out it was a gut read. However.....In post 78, esires wrote:OK I have a slight scumread on BS2000 now. Post 51 is a little sus; first he casts aspersions on petapan, then puts him in the townlean category. I get a weird wishy washy vibe from that whole post
maaaaan this feels performative. "oh you think I'm town already? I don't think i'm being very town. but if you think i'm town I guess you're kinda town."petapan wrote: this is the fastest i have ever been townread in a game
don't really think it's warranted but w/e. don't find myself more suspicious of the people doing it
I would say loose is more anti-town. Can be distracting. Most of that ended after page 2. (I'll also note I have no issue with peeps making posts to try to get others to use appropriate verbage)petapan wrote:

just from skimming FGs meta, that's kinda their style early in games, I think.Bulbazoor wrote:tryharding in the sense that he tried hard to come off as jokey and carefree.i was going to learn the keyboard and write several ballads

i mean i'm normally not someone who gets townread early and while i think my play is solidly protown i'd be lying if i said i was out of scumrange. but i don't think the reads on me are necessarily coming from an informed point of view where i'm being townread too easily by people who know i'm town, it just feels a bit carelessIn post 87, BS2000 wrote:maaaaan this feels performative. that doesn't really answer my question - what posts seemed "loose"? just them joking around on page 1?BS2000 wrote:I would say loose is more anti-town. Can be distracting. High level of activity and scumhunting. In post 79, Bulbazoor wrote:Interesting. Why do you townread meg? I haven't seen anything particularly towny from him.
Yeah I realize it wasn't the most impressive or useful entry into the game but like I said in a prior post, I was at a con over the weekend, but still wanted to participate in the game. Rush-posting from a phone between sessions is less than ideal but hopefully I cleared up what I meant. In post 82, petapan wrote:

Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.-
