don't know why we want to go into this route. I don't think this is really anything we can dig into without going into conspiracy theory. Nor do I think their interactions scream theatre right now.

I was talking about the whole "this is where I am and what I'm doing and why I'm V/LA" information, which was never in doubt.

Then maybe im confused on the accusation too. Do you mean that when Shea got back he posted in scum chat and then him and frog mutually decided for Frog to call him out and then Shea to appear? I don't see the point in that, it doesn't even create great anti association.

All I'm saying is it's a pretty big coincidence for someone who's V/LA to start posting very shortly after they're soft-mentioned in the thread -one- time.

I don't even know if I think Frog is scum. His posts are baffling, and Shea's timing is baffling.

I'm not saying there was a master plan behind this. Just the way it happened is a red flag to me.

Which is why I gave more information than that? About like, how literally the game ended and I posted 10 minutes later because that was when I had removed my pants and was lying in my hotel room with my laptop pointedly refusing to read the thread.

A full timeline of my day, for the True Scum Hunters:

1am-2am I play slay the spire with Ariel and Ametrine in the MS discord voice.
2am-4am I watch nonsense videos until I fall asleep.
11am I wake up and walk to a bagel place for coffee and real bagels because you can't get them in chicago.

11am to 12pm I eat bagels and watch some youtube.

12pm to 3pm I go play chess in the park because I've always wanted to do that
4pm I get back to my hotel and shower
430pm I get in an uber to go meet up with lilith.
5:15 PM I get dinner with Lilith. She is delightful.
7:37 the mets game starts
~9pm buck showalter bunts with 2 on and no one out like an absolute twit.
~10pm-11pm buck showalter brings edwin diaz into the game in the 7th for no discernable reason and then leaves him in to pitch the 8th despite the fact that the mets have scored 4 runs.
11:40ish game ends. I walk back to my hotel room and make said post.

I hope that my itinerary is useful for you determining my buddy equity with frogster. A player I am pretty sure I would simply bus immediately if I were ever scum buddies with him.

I'm having a really nice vacation though. Hope the mets can win tomorrow.

why even are ya'll on Asia? Solway Firth is a sagacious wagon, like they havent even posted yet. Element coming in putting Asia under some line, and fire being like..... ultra focused on finding 'the bunny'......

while Asia has felt pretty much wholly green to me after a few one-liners exchanged.

I had similar reasoning for both you and Eira. I liked both these posts because I thought they were uncontrived:

Both have a sort of playfulness and "unseriousness" while not seeming particularly designed to come across as towny to me. Contrast with my personal experience of playing scum, which is to spend lots and lots of time ruminating over the tone of a post. Not much evidence, but I added the "early page 2" qualifier for a reason.

Based on the overnight posting I think I will stand by these early TRs. I tend to townread lots of quick posting, Frog meets that description, and I don't see where the scum agenda is. Hoping for a textbook case of "guy who appears to be scumhunting is, in fact, scumhunting". Eira's latest post is also consistent with what I know of their townplay, and my best guess is that the stream-of-consciousness style post would be kind of hard to fake as scum. Did I pocket them or did they pocket me?

Grib is also a townlean. The reason is that they seem curious and they don't seem like they are trying to convince anyone of anything. I think FB might be town too, but I need some time and space to detach from the attention they've heaped on me overnight.
