I'm just not getting into this game. I replaced into a VT slot and there's just been nothing but mechanics talk about traitors and/or cults. Math would have been better vigging me since unwnd actually kind of grasped what was going on. I actually town read them too.

My mindset right now is that we cull the lurkers and hope that the active players get sorted through night kills.

I was thinking that scum was probably hoping Math would misvig us, since I think he specifically had us as his preferred vig target if I’m remembering correctly?

Well, any of that couldn’t hurt, I guess. I think due to MMR flip, unless anyone has even wilder theories than Math and thinks MMR somehow bussed us, we’re pretty much confirmed not to be lunar scum, so I don’t know if any town night actions would be anywhere as helpful as town noon actions on us. Perhaps a tracker or even a jk or roleblocker on us could help? The obvious best action on us would obviously be some kind of watcher because our reasons for being so suss on Scarf is that we think they copped us or are otherwise somehow informed about our role and if they do know our role, it would make perfect sense why they’re trying so hard to get us miselimed.

So in a town you world Scarf would be lunar then?

I did. The only reason I changed is because unwd looked so much like Solar.

Why? Scum is scum, why does it mater which one we take out? I’m going to be happy in either case. What I hope doesn’t happen again is another last minute compromise wagon like we had on d1, those are much greater > rand likely to hit town.

Conversion scum is a greater threat than a flat team scum.

There’s associatives that can be taken care of later for lunar scum.

Okay I see your reasoning with this but I’m definitely not going to cry if we hit a lunar. And also, counterpoint, if we wipe out an entire team, then it becomes like singleball and easier to solve but I do see merit in the associative argument as well.

I mean I won’t cry if we hit a lunar but if I am right and RRs burning prevention stops converts (likely unless RR converted TBone which is a cross that bridge if we get to it) then we have a bit of time to breathe.

The main problem is if we wipe out all Lunar on elims and no solar we can end up with…
MMR on Dawn 1 => Possible convert of TBone if RR is scum. Otherwise likely failed.
Lunar on Dusk 2 => Lunar kill (12 alive)
Lunar on Dawn 2 => Convert here Solar + 1. (11 alive)
Wake up to x + 1 or x + 2 v 11 - (x+1) or (x+2) on Dusk 3

Let x = 2 then 3 v 8 cult game is the best case scenario. If RR converted TBone (unlikely but paranoia) then it could be 4 v 7 cult game

We need to hit a solar in order to stop conversion issues.
We can’t eliminate solar

Now combine that with if I get eliminated d1 solar get vanillized and the tiny tiny lie I told earlier and won’t impact reads.

1) So you're not even pretending to be interested in 'getting active'?

2) That is in itself a reason. Lack of contribution is scummy, and when we normalise (i.e. nullread) players who do nothing, site meta suffers as a result.
