I don't understand what you mean. Datisi has been funded for two nights and has investigated two people - that is literally the limit of what he can do regardless of his alignment.

the issue with saying "follow the cop" doc/cop combo is op is that if the cop is always protected you can kill whoever you want at will and you don't really know if the cop is town or not.

I'm just saying that if the mafia held the optimal positions they could hold then today they could conceivably win with an execution of a town player.

There is a lot of room for scum counterplay in this setup and follow the cop is not realistically a breaking strategy at all.

That’s why you elim them at e-1. So you learn the alignment of those copped or you clear scum wanted to clear those slots.

town does not know when elo is - it could be as early as today. if today is elo, then the day before elo would've been D3 when Datisi had 1 check - which is not very useful. If today is the day before elo then Datisi has two checks.

There's no gamebreaking cop with tons of information because it literally didn't happen.
