Why would I want credit of it? And how? That argument would be valid if this wasn't a dance game and Meuh my partner. Dead man don't take credits, they already are at the rolling credits screen you know?In post 1029, Thestatusquo wrote:It's less the form than the function that i find over the top if that makes any sense.
Seems like narratively in terms of thread momentum it piles on meuh in a way that allows you to not actually take any credit for creating that pressure yourself.-

This is fair, I don't personalize my way of reading every player that much so it's not really something that came across my mind. To me it just seemed like Ari took a riskier option that I don't think scum would opt for and it stuck out to me as something town indicative. (I've seen stubbornness be town indicative a good amount)In post 984, Thestatusquo wrote:I just think this is a very player contextual point, different players definitely have different levels of people pleasing in their scum games, so its kind of weird to me that you would just make a blanket statement like that and apply it to ari as if its a universal maxim.
For what its worth I think good scum players tend to not behave like you're describing at all as a general rule.-

this is a reasonable mech point, wouldn't make any sense for you to try to trade yourself for your town partner. In post 1032, Shirou wrote:

Eh, I mean yeah townies do scummy stuff all the time, otherwise it'd be extremely easy to find scum. I don't really see why this should stop me from seeing you as scum from your odd behaviour. For me a large part of finding town is identifying the townie thought processes behind posts and your stance on the whole VPB question thing seems just, to not be coming from that mindset. In post 985, midwaybear wrote:
Ok, I can understand how it comes across as a bit unnatural, but I don't see how you're making the step from "oh this is off from midway" to "it's opportunistic scum"In post 981, Meuh wrote:I do think specific examples of behaviours are useful, but I think there's a disconnect between you singling out that post as if it was the main problem when right after, there seems to be a wider issue of fluff in your eyes. It's off.
cuz I think off stuff comes from town a lot of the time and I really don't see what makes that moment scummy-

Do you tend to back down from arguments as scum?In post 1033, Meuh wrote:

I magnanimously forgive your push on me mhm. I need to try to remember that scum TM game from you, your takes so far sound organic but I remember wrongly town leaning you for something similarIn post 1034, Thestatusquo wrote:

I recall being pretty passive and kind of letting go of my arguments last time I played scum, but I also played like shit so I'm not sure it's a good basis to apply to the players in this game, the scumteam's probably gonna be more skillful.-

You're probably underselling yourself but this sort of argument reminds me of certain players that were known to not be good at replicating their town game as scum and therefore it made their town game stronger since they were almost unable to be miseliminated by the scum team...In post 1038, Thestatusquo wrote:I'm good at replicating my town game as scum and I'm bad at correctly reading people as town, which helps with the first thing.-

I am very much prepared for tonight's dinner, lady Shirou! The food will surely be, though not nearly as wonderful as you, truly!lovely
I've worn the armour you recommended, though I hope it doesn't end up being a necessity, howtragicthis would be! Oh my! A dinner together organized by you would be the perfect opportunity to slip some poison in the poor prince's cup of wine, but you would never do such a thing, right?Right?Right?

I must say, I miss a bit the town reads that would usually appear by now when I was more solvy. Other than maybe TSQ push on me, people read on me feel...kinda random and biased? Maybe Cakez's isn't bad either. I think they are all negative reads as well though.
One of the ways I like sorting is based on people's read on me (It's not OMGUS I swear!) so I hope people will try their luck on my slot on more details if they haven't already?
In fact, @Norwe, what's your take on me here?-
