I think math!scum also knows that, and why his own actions are making my lim less likley, and the wagon he thinks is town more likely.

Ydra went to perform the kill.
I jailkept skitter, so ydra decided to immediately claim a "possible inno" in the event i jailkeeped her so she could win out in anyway that it occured that she wouldn't be instant guiltied. If i claimed i jailkept Ydra, she oculd say skitter is unconfirmed. If i claimed jailkeep on skitter, she can pretend she has a good inno.

It makes so much sense to me.

So you are thinking Ydr + Herta for the team.

It feels too level zero to me that they would kill skitter, who was heavily heavily suspected, and her only real strong read being Herta scum. I think Herta would look incredibly bad at that point, and no other team realistically makes that kill when skitter is an easy mis elim.

Ah gg. My wifom/paranoia kinda got the best of me this game especially towards the end. But glad it worked out and we trusted the PoE and just went with it. Thanks to everyone else in the town for closing it out when I wasn’t really there.

Scum team all three of you gave me a ton of doubt at every turn, props for that.

Pooky noted on the polarization part. To explain myself a little bit (because it did sort of cross my mind when I said it, that it might come off as trust telling, but I ultimately decided it wasn’t) I didn’t think I was trust telling because to me trust telling is doing something specific on purpose as one alignment. “I can’t play like this as scum” feels vague and nonspecific enough that it could be debateable I can “play like this” as scum. I know you can read me like a book immediately but I get surprisingly far as scum for lol reasons. But I will try to stop saying those kinds of things. It’s possible I am misunderstanding trust tell as well, I’m more than happy to talk openly about this issue

I don’t really play polarized on purpose, I put a similar amount of mental effort into all games (maybe even more as scum). It just so happens that it comes off as 100% on my town games (play to win this game, not a future game), and putting in the same amount of effort for scum games comes out to about 50% trying. Me going 100% on a scum game would be very mentally exhausting for me. This is why I took a break/messed around with an alt or two because of this issue, honestly I don’t know what I’m going to do about it going forward.

I don’t think I would gotten skitter as scum if it weren’t for just the sheer PoE. She did a bunch of non scum!motivated things that I didn’t think scum would do but I should’ve realized earlier the lacklusterness was likely just knowing she would die a slow death.

Also I meant it when I said it was very pleasant playing with each and every one of you! So thanks for the game and hopefully we can play again soon together (whenever that happens to be for me)

To answer your question skitter I claimed because hard economics

Me as conf town + IV as conf town means two kills get eaten where scum can’t kill PRs and usually my ability to town sucks so forcing scum to kill me = protown

I see what you’re saying, but personally I feel it was very clear to people that I was town and you were in zero danger of getting elimmed anytime soon with many people defending you. You could’ve claimed later, I think we were lucky that your death was able to be blocked/scum already thought you were doc before the claim. If anything it felt like skitter baited you into claiming (whether intentionally or not)

It was more of a policy thing than any actual belief in gera scum. Townies should cooperate with town, there was no good reason to not claim imo. Sure the “not claiming” might’ve been softing VT but at that point you might as well say it to cooperate, everyone is listening including scum. I think the D1 elim should’ve just been Scol and we could’ve accelerated Pooky’s death on D2 (maybe)

No one really pushed much against Scol or gera on D1 and D2 (except skitter WKing Scol) so if there was good resistance against the wagon I think we could’ve avoided those elims easily
