Why is Elements town for this?
I think I need to know.
Joker may or may not agree but as extremely off the chart’s scummy as their play has been, nothing in either Titus or Elements’ claim fails to line up with ours: vt.In post 1462, Eiralox wrote:Because. Not trusting this.
However Elements’ isn’t thinking, because if they were, they should notice. that I claimed vt well before their claim and furthermore if Elements was looking at anything logically, they should realize that if we’re goon and heavily sussed, we’d be the logical choice make the kill if we’re scum here, so they’re understanding of every seems assbackwards upside down.
But aren't they backed into a corner after Titus claim, if true(which, I mean, discounting Flea being silenced and the actual one with the black spot, I kinda trust, cos I had a hunch Enchant might be dissimulating?
One can twist and turn this claim multiple ways but that still doesn't counter the feel that Elements' heart really isn't in it?-

You're botching your NA, it's a vanilla cop. Gamma is even worse suggesting you target the miller! What's the point.
Pedit: no you don't, you're a vanilla parity cop, you either know if they're BOTH vanilla or if at least one of them isn't vanilla. You target a claimant, you're likely getting the most question mark result which is a negative to them both being vanilla-

I don't buy any part of elements' claim and I'm impressed everyone else thinks this is reasonable
Pedit: someone that claimed anything, like KJ did. You finding it suspect and "investigating" with your supposed role will only work if they're a goon and you pair with a VT or another goon. Surely you know better than this. And also your claim came after all the information was already available for you to make your fake claim. You're gonna have to convince other people cause I'll never buy this.-

I don't understand how I botched my night action?
I have a same result for KJ and someone else. Whenever they reveal/die we'll know if KJ is vanilla or not
How could I have any more information than that?I agree with everything Elements is posting - Papa Zito

Thinking on it more, the less I think Mafia Vanilla Parity Cop makes sense. My gut reaction was that it's more useful for scum, and since scum are already inherently nerfed by the delayed kill, scum having decently strong PRs makes sense. My mistake though was that Scum will, at least for a while, have known roles to check against, which kinda negates the whole parity aspect. Why not just give them a straight Neapolitan at that point? And from there why overcomplicate things into a double targeting role you need to carefully keep up with all game? Even if the role is just entirely made up with no basis in reality... Neapolitan is just a better claim. Easier to maintain, easier to understand, easier to not do anything useful with.In post 1472, Gimli wrote:
KJ could be whatever mafia role that isn't giving a vanilla result, and you still get a false positive by targeting someone else cause you're a parity cop. Seriously ellyIn post 1469, Elements wrote:Why do I not check something I don't believe?
So I think I'm back to trusting Elements here.-

It either gets “both vanilla/both PR” or “one vanilla+one PR”<Embrace The Void>

Sure, but Neapolitan already exists and is way more likely to have been floated as a fakeclaim than Vanilla Parity Cop. Outside of setups known to have wackier or more convoluted roles, there's just not usually a reason to even think about things like Vanilla Parity Cops.In post 1487, Gimli wrote:She is claiming parity cop cause she can back it up cause they obviously have a VT cop-

You're missing the Parity aspect.
The role checks whether two slots are the same or different. A normal Parity Cop checks alignment. Two Town or Two Mafia will return the same result, while One Town and One Mafia returns another.
A Vanilla Parity Cop checks whether they're vanilla and does not check alignment.-
