My own preference would be Palace, probably the easiest of the three and I trust myself to find Town more than I do Scum.

First take, I like this post from RR here. I just looked at the setup and we don’t want people just randomly scattered, we ideally want the three scummiest people in the same location, so we should probably try to determine this more coalition style I think.

But really I don't think I care. I had thought about claiming off the bat like Drew did but then thought that might not be a good idea because we're trying to consolidate the scum into one group and I think it's probably harder when someone jumps in like that.

As it stands I'm going to be suspicious of whoever joins the dungeon next and of drew.

I think people should group with townreads. Scum are disincentivized to townread their buddies with this mindset, since they need to spread out.

I think I'd rather focus on the order of who states their preference/joins for any dungeon rather than looking at the intent of the dungeon itself. If we don't group all 3 scum, the goal never changes since the scum will make every group 2:1 anyway.

I think town discussing information is more beneficial from a reads standpoint than consolidation. I haven't played this setup before but it sounds practically difficulty to achieve all 3 scum in one area, at least in light of an immediate, and arguably unavoidable random pick. But this is the length of my philosophy on the setup.

What Drew did was neutral at best, scum siding at worst. Either way it was a bad idea and makes me scum Drew.
It stops us from being able to properly plan where we want to throw people on the town-scum scale in locations.
My list from earlier doesn't work if we think Drew is sucmmy as they've already chosen a spot so we have so suboptimally (imo) place people.
It's also a huge benefit for a sucm to choose early. I find town hunting easier than scum hunting so I'd want to assign who I think is town first before sorting the remaining players. It's just really bad.

I agree that townreads higher in the order are the preferred method.

Tbh I see mech plays and ideas as NAI off principle, so I think psuedovotes are a good measurement to simulate reads and pressure.
