What IS important is that Elements has a potential guilty on Gimli and/or Mala

Malakittens claims Miller. There is no alignment cop in this setup, so the only way Miller can possibly work is inverting other results, which means she should be treated as vanilla for Elements. Meaning the result should have been same, not different.

So either Mala's not a Miller or Gimli's not vanilla. Either way, one of them is lying.

Can you explain this to me? Why should a miller claim show up as vanilla?

Because Millers make the results wrong. Miller isn't vanilla, therefore it should appear to a vanilla cop as vanilla. Unless it's an alignment-specific Miller, but there's no alignment cop to interact with that, so it can't be the case.

Yes, Miller can work without alignment cops. By inverting results. So Elements should have gotten a same result if you're both telling the truth, inverting the real result of different.

A Miller returns a guilty result if investigated by a Cop, "Miller" if investigated by a Role Cop, and "non-Vanilla" to a Vanilla Cop. The Normal variant of Miller specifically only produces a false guilty to a Cop and Seer, so for example, a Gunsmith will see them as having no gun (unless they have a gun for some other reason).

Show up as scum to any AC or alignment-based invest role. I just didn’t understand how they’d necessarily show up as vanilla but I guess makes sense since miller doesn’t actually do anything.
