In post 1752, Cephrir wrote: -marci probably should not out her full results. my suggestion would be that she report from the following options:
-no result (do not out your target in this case, for multiple reasons - one of them being you could have tracked the cop)
-my target visited someone other than the kill (don't out them)
-my target visited no one (don't out them)
-my target visited the kill (out them)
This feels like an incredibly pro town post, especially the bit about if you get no result not to out your target. I had not really even thought about Marci possibly outing the cop, and so there is a decent chance she didn't either.

scum have literally almost never doubled up across 30+ games if you count PYP X/Y as well as the primordial instances of the setup

last time i played this as scum (and the only time i've drafted as scum) my team did so poorly in the draft (coming away with only a 1 shot vig and nothing else) that it completely massacred our morale straight out of the gate and made the game much harder than it should have been, and that was without intentional doubling

i think in practice i'd basically never do it now because the reward of a potential false clear is not worth the potential risk in tanking your team's draft
So do you think the people with duplicates are likely unaligned if one of those duplicates is scum?
I think that that would be a safe assumption personally

@Taly, if you felt this way, is there a reason that you were okay with a Marci vote before? She has been guarantied a PR since the start of the game. Were you aware of her position on the draft sheet when you voted her?

I decided to stare at the PL for a min. I am approximately at

Town:
Unwnd, Notty, Marci

Lady Lambdadelta, Taly*

Shades of Null:
Ceph, GreyIce, Ydra
Bell
Peta, Dunn

Scum:
KingTroll
STD

*I think that Taly's response to my last questions might influence their tier, up or down, so I kinda need to see their answer first

Same line is unsorted, but differing lines are a distinction.

Okay I would like one(1) hammer please.
Not a fake hammer. Nobody falls for that, esp. Not someone named king troll.
Unless you think he'll make an especially funny and/or fake prat fall.
In which case, proceed.

If you need proof that KingTroll’s insinuations are dangerous and unacceptable, this letter will provide it. Let me get to the crux of the matter: I must admit that I’ve read only a small fraction of KingTroll’s hit pieces. (As a well-known aphorism states, it is not necessary to eat all of an apple to learn that it is rotten.) Nevertheless, I’ve read enough of KingTroll’s hit pieces to know that KingTroll is not particularly articulate. He seems incapable of expressing himself except with rocks and Molotov cocktails. Perhaps he’s just into violence, or perhaps it’s simply the case that I urge you to pay very close attention to his brash hariolations. Once you do, I am in no doubt that you will see what the rest of us clearly can, that KingTroll’s reaction to our latest crisis diligently fulfills the first law of reactive politics. That is to say, do something, no matter how contemptuous. Issue orders. Look busy. Forget about how KingTroll’s dream is to use the power of government to further his cause of robbing Peter to pay Paul. Hence and therefore, I’ve found that most raucous jackanapes display complete and utter nescience of his press releases. To help educate them, let me say a little about how KingTroll is obviously under the influence of LLD or some other hallucinogenic. Why else would he think that the Universe belongs to him by right? Even KingTroll’s aides-de-camp don’t care much for his political objectives; they simply wish to associate with other counterproductive shysters and send children to die as martyrs for causes that he is unwilling to die for himself. Like a vestal virgin, he lovingly guards the ancient flame of eudaemonism. KingTroll keeps it alive as his means to conceal the fact that he’s moving us into an age of rampant simplism, an age in which freedom of thought will be at first a deadly sin and later on a meaningless abstraction. How dare he criticize my values when his are so obviously mudslinging?

I once pointed out to KingTroll that his stances are all about denial, usually in the form of circumlocutory jargon that distorts and evades and seldom stands up to honest analysis. All I could garner from his ensuing mussitation was some nonsense about how everyone who is halting the adulation heaped upon unmannerly hucksters has a dark, ulterior motive for doing so. It may suit KingTroll’s world view to assume that the intentions of his denigrators are malicious, but unless he can read minds, it’s difficult to impossible for anyone to verify that assumption. Hence, let me make the counterproposal that the reality is that it is a dangerous road we are walking when the truth about KingTroll’s squibs is so systematically held back and when the media are willing to go so far to cover up his desire to develop a Pavlovian reflex in us, to make us afraid to hold out the prospect of societal peace, prosperity, and a return to sane values and certainties.

Even though KingTroll’s rich repertoire of lascivious projects serves only to impinge upon our daily lives, this does not negate the fact that I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Rather, I am saying it because KingTroll intends to relegate persons to the status of things in the days to come. He vehemently denies that, of course, but he obviously would because a great many of us don’t want him to revile everything in the most obscene terms and drag it into the filth of the basest possible outlook. Still, we feel a prodigious societal pressure to smile, to be nice, and not to object to his ungrateful, money-grubbing circulars. The facts are in: KingTroll, taking a page from many 20th century despots, seeks to meddle in everyone else’s affairs.

realistically what are people waiting for with the claim? we know he has a role, we know it's not indicative of alignment, are we going to flop off onto a random target because we're scared of losing a town power role and rush everything at the last minute?

we've had 2 days to discuss possible alternatives if the wagon dies and almost no one has actually done that
