yes. they had room to mislim. i would consider it as scum and it's not as game-throwing as you keep making it out to be.

even if the optimal strategy is to do X, i literally just won a newbie game as scum where we did Y instead of X and won because people were expecting us to do X and thought we couldn't be paired and couldn't be mafia because Y happened.

That's just insane and I guess the insane part isn't that you think that but that you're refusing to consider any possibility that the scum would consider taking the optimal path.

Like I guess I understand thinking its possible the scum would do this, though I think personally its extremely unlikely, but I don't get just landing on that as the only option and refusing to consider anything else.
