Hi LLD.
Are you certain that you’ve accounted for the variables that playing scum in one game and town in another could have. Or do you think that their play here is more in line with being scum in two games and struggling with that along with irl stuff

It's a combination of. It's playing scum in two games, it's having seen them as town in another game semi recently, it's that I thought maybe IRL stuff was dragging them down but a successful scum win for them in Gnosia shows me they are controlling their thread presence purposefully.

Maybe it is easier to do less because of IRL stuff but they are actively curating and controlling their thread presence and it's the same shit as Gnosia. The EXACT same shit. Only difference was STD got a little more snappy this game because this game hasn't entered full apathy mode and so snapping at people gets them to back off better here than in Gnosia were it would draw attention.

Scum. I'm genuinely actually sold. We kill this today.

Gnosia just ended, and I wasn't sure he was scum there but I did note he was playing HYPER SIMILAR HERE.

So given he just flipped scum there, and no one listened to me to kill him, I'm killing him here today.

I went through STD's ISO in that game, don't really have time to read it in depth. he's been more readsy in this game than that one, and he was more setup-y in gnosia (despite saying he's not good at setup). I can see reasons why his play would be a little different here regardless -- ceph and getting into a swirl with Dunnstral.

Setup wise, this game is open and people have enough setup spec to launch a rocket to the moon.

The overlaps here are specifically curating his activity to pop in and out when it's advantageous to him (he was quiet in Gnosia until I pushed him as a target, then he ramped up)

he actually did the EXACT SAME THING in a Newbie game I played with him in and he won as scum. Stay out of the lime light, provide mild but mostly empty air reads, get enough people to think you're eh, mostly town, dodge eliminations by apathy.

The fact that Unwnd wanted to kill STD, gave up and went on FB before desperately going back to STD is evidence for this fact.

STD has ME as their number 1 town read this game, and no one questioned that. Someone DID however question the OTHER player who had me at #1. Why did no one question STD? Is it his affability?

Why would STD, a player traditionally anxious and nervous about getting reads right be so certain on me. Well, I've been hestitant to kill him. I wager that that's a part of it.

It fits. It lines up with the Newbie, it lines up with the Gnosia game. STD's scum game is about doing more by doing less and being under the radar while doing it and THIS IS THAT GAME.

I've just had 2 examples of it. The first example showed me the way, the second example I was right on the money about and no one listened to me.
