The argument that 1 wolf is going to use it outplay is just isn’t true, how do they get to endgame with what we claimed so far?
By massclaiming we’re locking the 1 singular wolf in a room and starving it until it loses all of its energy and eventually dies.

A night a protective dies is a night that the roles that confirm players don’t die

let's think about the two scenarios:

(1) there is 1 protective that is active

(a) we mass claim, protective dies at night, then I die.

(b) we don't mass claim, scum shoots ??? if they shoot me they lose a nightkill since protective saves me. If they start hunting for the protective in the pile of people, they either hit it or don't hit it.

(2) there is no protective that is active

(a) we mass claim, i get shot because no protectives are active

(b) we don't mass claim, scum have to take a risk on shooting me.


in all scenarios - it is better to not mass claim.

Like let's say there's a doctor in the game, why would it make sense to get that doctor to claim when he can just stay hidden and keep protecting either me or the gun maker dude?

1a - Protective did it's job. If you died the following night town gets a vig shot. By this time we would have already cleared 2 players and killed 2 more. We kill kill 2 more players within that's cycle. Already that's 6 players the town is able to sort.
1b - If the protective is forced to claim within PoE then wolves are forced to shoot a player that is in our poe. That is now 7 players that the town is able to sort.

2 is a false premise. Furtive claimed that once 3 wolves die he has 1-shot left and for that 1-shot we're both on top of you.
