that's not as stupid of a post as you might think though. it's a strategy that actually sounds
reasonable by virtue of being adjacent to another that actually is
viable (that is, to choose the execution in the small hood)

This strategy sounds kind of bad and also not fun to play. Is there something I am misunderstanding about it

if you get the hood themselves to decide on an execution, then with 1/3 scum all you need to do is convince ONE player that the vote should go to someone other than you. that could be trivial depending on who's in there, and you can do that in a very noncommittal way and frame that as caution

yes i can be just as aggro as scum and i usually am because the aggressiveness isn't theater, it's a combination of frustration and annoyance. the theater is harder to pull off but i've done it successfully in the past, though you do have a point in that there's an associative read here
