But I don't want to distrust what feels like sound reason to townread him.

Ultimately I care about getting the right answer more than I care about the reasons used to obtain said answer
If 'Gimli has me pocketed' is the most plausible explanation of what's happening right now then I can accept that
I'd need someone (read: exactly Ausuka) to spell that out though

You and Comus both act as roles that are meant to punish the Night Kill (you protect from the kill, Comus gets guilties from it)
Skygazer's Detective role ALSO interacts with the mafia NK in that it gives info on who has or hasn't killed

I haven't put all the info together but I don't think all of the somewhat-powerful roles exist in the same game

All roles exist except detective. Every other role is crippled, Loud Visionary is redundant though..... as town role? But I trust Ausuka so whatever.

Person who replaces in, informed that scum have modified Scum PR's somehow has crumb about being a modified PR. WOW WHO COULD HAVE IMAGINED. If menalque flips town get Gimli, Sky and gerainm. No other set up makes sense. 'Informed Detective' does not fit in here.

Gimli suddenly scumsiding with sky, voting on our doctor claim WHEN WE CAN VERIFY THIS CLAIM and distancing from menalque wagon like this after giving lip service all day to sky/mena team rubs me the wrong way.

This is why I shouldn't have claimed, but if mena flips VT, my role becomes a potato anyway.

I will watch Gimli tonight. This is the only use I have anymore.

I am about to sit down and watch D&D for a few hours, I guess 10 minutes till lights down.

I have zero idea why comus felt they had to hide they claim for so long. On my quick skim I see no reason why holding it back was so vital.

I definitely understand why the setup would cause people to doubt enchant's claim to some degree because with comus's claim things look less like "haha i trolled you guys there is no vig" and more like "why is there a shield here?" but like, i think it's also possible enchant's role isn't actually meant to hint as a vig even if it's real? like, it could just be the setup trying to make a Doc more ~spicy~

i also think if enchant is scum that claim is, super counterintuitive. it would definitely raise the odds that at least *one* of his partners is the kind of person who would, uh, have any idea what a shield is or care enough to look up very poorly known normal roles on the wiki. Or he's just a mafia doctor shield that's kind of possible but still weird

The setup comus proposes looks roughly balanced to me, for what it's worth. maybe more on the scumsided end in my view but i could see it getting passed

@Klick; I hear you but my brain isn't working super well right now and if it wasn't a sort of urgent situation I would not be posting

I think the best thing I can say here is, like, that I think you saying scum gimli keeps the poe open is pretty applicable to his play in this game; while it's hard to speculate exactly what's in a normal setup, and it can depend on the viewer, I think i have a pretty decent grasp of what would go into a game, and particularly the rough powers of roles. so the way he tried to like, totally dismiss my opinion on that felt like he was really trying to make sure sky wasn't a clear. (and this is pre-comus-not-claiming-vt)

I think his treatment of me, nominally calling me locktown but not really treating me that way and like trying to call me scum where he can, is also suggestive that he wants to keep the limpool open to me but I admit to bias on that one

I don't really have a preference between mena or enchant because i think both are town rn but i guess will hammer over no lim

I think what I'm saying here: this setup has roles that clash with each other, but more specifically enchant's role is now clashing with three other roles in a way that I find suspicious and I don't like anything he posts. he is doing these 'gotchas' and they're all wrong and that's the only scumhunt I've seen from him. tunneled elsa until she died, docced menalque but is now voting him with no explanation other than 'im voting scum'. did a shitpush on sky, okay that looked like he believed in it maybe, but should we clear enchant for shitpushes? I don't think we should clear enchant for shitpushes.
