I guess I just don't quite agree that there isn't any advantage to a klick/gera team to push gera as town strongly. Gera was always in a pretty vulnerable position as someone who didn't post a lot and therefore could get compromise eliminated, like what happened to STD. If you push him as town a lot, it serves to take that option off the table. I am also not sure that you would like, only defend your scum mates when they are in immediate danger? I guess something similar could apply to your defense of kawaii although iirc quite a lot of people were townreading him
