Wanna talk about that read a little more, then? It's strange how you made this big list and I was the only one marked "unsus" but then actually it turns out I'm not especially towny. The only thing that seemed to change in between was that read from Gimli, but you say that's only part of the reasoning. I'm a little concerned that you would be swayed by things like "appetite for a wagon" particularly where it comes to me.

Dessew's post basically welcoming me was weird and felt unnecessary, pinged me a bit scummy. Ironically Furt thinks they are scum though, and Furt seems more engaged here then I have really seen him, and he has always been town with me, so that pings me as well.

McMenno is probably town, despite the aggression(or even because of it) towards my slot.

Will need to skim through the thread to tighten reads on the rest though.

I also don't like how they are so obsessed with the VC, yes someone was put at E-1 in RVS, but that shit happens sometimes.

That didn't really answer bianco's question. If it's 'somewhat' jokes that should mean there's something of substance to it as well. But then you just shrug off explaining what substance you think there could be with some handwaving about traction for the wagon, which is annoyingly similar to furtive's reasoning.

i dont like my reads because its mostly based on whos done things and like its trivially easy for scum to do things and like i have no way to reliably sort town players who dont do anything

Yes this is generally how reads are formed, people do things and you try to figure out if they are townie things or scummy things.

I have and I don't particularly feel great about it - that's my point - I am used to games with a lot higher level of activity and interaction and substance. This game feels like nothing meaningful is going on and people are ok with it which is only a town-win if like the scum have decided to do absolutely nothing.
