Like why would the scum team want to be "off" the dragoneater wagon? There's been roughly zero game pressure today based around the people who voted dragoneater and where they voted him. This is entirely predictable, this happens all the time. The idea that people get scum points for being on a town wagon d1 especially one which is backed by huge thread momentum is a practically a myth.

Why would the scum want to be "on" the dragoneater wagon? The dragoneater wagon always felt inevitable to me regardless of what I said about it, no one was listening to me about it the whole day (I have to say except kuribo or he'll mald) Scum don't need to drive wagons like that. They're gunna happen regardless so there's not a particular incentive to be on it.

So like my answer is that its essentially random and based on individualized playstyle. I assume you're a player who frequently does VCA which is why you're doing it here so I don't think its like scummy or something that you are doing it but I just don't buy any of what is being sold here. The set of asssumptions that people make to try to understand scum behavior towards wagons is often nonsensical.

Yeah I saw this accusation but I didn't really have time to internalize it. Can you explain it to me like I'm 5.

As someone who doesn't really think the conclusions of VCA are correct usually I haven't put a lot of thought into how one might "mess" with it.

There are absolutely ways to mess with VCA, which is why I still use it but step away from overly relying on it.

The wagons from d1 and d2 practically mirroring each other suggest either scum were playing both sides of Klick v Dragoneater or more likely that scum were hard protecting Klick and Dunn.

This doesn't direct to particular names yet, but the goal can be concluded based on Klick's flip.

Notice I said linked, not confirmed. If scum link themselves, they still run out of options to push.

If they have a method to mess with actions, then our powers would be useless and it would be a vanilla game. Vanilla with lovers is stupid.

i am iffy on the idea of breaking the game with mech considering me and my team just bamboozled the mech so hard in demon slayer that town couldn't think straight with the mech allowing us to get a victory. Also i find arguments of playing just to the mech rather than reads to be....defeating the purpose of 90% of the game. Id rather use it as a fallback if i really can't find scum in how people are positioning.

Like i think theres a few mech exploits scum can do with these "links" to either rule themselves out or obfuscates the clears.

What I learned from my other Team Mafia experience is that the setups seem to be designed specifically with skill expression in mind

i think its a pretty bad assumption that scum are all goons who couldn't do anything to town if we all claimed day 1 and organized actions.

like all they could do is claim their amnesiac roles that they can't use, or fake an amnesiac role to confuse the organization of actions.

Counterpoint: the first team mafia game I was in (whichever one I was teamed with amrun and chesskid) I ended up in the large theme which was a variation of powerful wizard

Powerful wizard being a concept invented by SpyreX who happened to be in the game. Despite not knowing the exact setup (obviously), he managed to completely mechanically break it for town.
