I can explain why all of D1 happened.
mith picked the n3 gun and thought that the 1-shot gun would be picks 2 and 3.
They did not want to give Imaginality a gun because if they did, Imaginality shoots mith
Wolves proactively did NOT want Imaginality getting the 1-shot gun.
They wagoned Imaginality to try to kill the UB, and when they couldn't get that, they wagoned Rad to give Imaginality the doctor.

Publicly, to the alleged third scum of your solve. Neither Datisi switching to Ythan nor switching back (without comment IIRC?) after I put my foot down in public make much sense if we’re all scum together.
I think the team being {Ythan, mith, Datisi} having a read that Staeg is the 1-shot vig and them not wanting to give that vig to Imaginality makes so much sense. Wolves tried to kill the UB or kill literally anyone else. If they don't have to worry about giving him the cop, the only thing they do have to worry about is giving him the 1-shot gun. If Imaginality gets the 1-shot gun they absolutely shoot mith with it. How is this far fetched? I feel like it makes perfect sense.
Imaginality being the town UB means that wolves have to be very careful w/ what it is that they kill because if they kill a threatening PR, it goes to Imaginality. If Imaginality is a threat to wolves, that is a big deal. If they read Staeg as having the 1-shot gun (very possible if mith is drafting the N3 gun), they're not going to want to give that gun to the Imaginality that wants to shoot mith in the face.
