Considering fire tried to give meta on me earlier, I feel like he's gonna be pretty likely to check someone's link that says it's a scum game of mine, since he wouldn't have been able to find anything but the multiball.

But this is still pretty funny, you may continue.

this is the kind of post that i would not necessarily have expected aisa scum to be bold enough to make

its a really good post imo just on vibes

im unsurprised that she is good at making in depth cases and towny looking analysis but this one did kinda stand out and concern me a little

honestly if aisa is scum it'd make me feel a lot better about this whole ordeal. i'd just be getting severely outplayed and that'd be okay

@ceph who was somewhat dubious on me somewhat endorsing aisa's 1-game meta homebrew, i have a soft spot for 1-game meta cases tbh. like i mentioned i think I've used them to some success in the past. I think in certain situations one can kind of extrapolate a lot about the way that a player plays from a single game.

Below is a leaflet published by the Scarfolk council department that was set up in 1973 to deal with citizen thought detection and control.

In addition to the thought-detector vans which prowled Scarfolk’s streets (see for more information), citizens were expected to undergo regular thought inspections.

At the time, thought terrorism was rife and most major public buildings and spaces had security checkpoints. Citizens were expected to read, understand and answer the questions put to them in the leaflet before being scanned by an IDS (Idea Detection Scanner). Initially, IDSs were just ex-policemen who had failed psychiatric empathy tests after sustaining severe head injuries. The practice of using such policemen was stopped when it was discovered that the method they used to extract thoughts from citizens’ heads involved the use of a big, sharp stick and an ice-cream scoop. More accurate IDS machines eventually replaced the policemen, drastically reducing human error, though the stick and ice-cream scoop were retained.

ok

I agree egix feels unpartnered I think

a combination of Aureal's comments about "no one is really trying to look unpartnered with him" and fire about his motivation/agenda

he feels like he's doing his own contributory thing and not really trying to look villagery or trying to affect the game. no hard desire to affect the game is the most villagey part to me, I think wolf always has SOME greater level of that unless we're getting steamrolled by implosion or something (unlikely)

like menalque could TOTALly be a wolf; the only thing he's done in 2 day phases is push fire and he doesnt care to develop a worldview outside that, which is more likely wolf who's starting to struggle a little

but this game I am just going to assume menal is a villager cuz he sorta did enough and now life is easier and less painful

I think I just do not believe Dunn's worldview is the main thing

the level of reasoning is just so weird compared to a) the amount of stuff in this game's 70+ pages and b) the level he's pushing it

like his entire approach is based fundamentally around Egix lock wolf because people are semi-ignoring egix. which just seems egregiously flawed to me (I think egix's hot-topic-ness is the exact amount I'd expect when considering his absence + the whole game besides skitter townreading CSF. I think Dunn's assertion that people were pushing him purely for inactivity is relatively untrue).

and then he's like I thought about who makes sense as egix's team for a bit and I came up with these 2 different pairings. and I cant really go much further than that. and then periodically repeats the same plan to resolve those five players.
and each time he's explained further I just dont really feel like there's anything there that it's actually getting deeper lol.

it feels much more likely to me to be wolf who found "this course of action that I propose would win the game for us" than villager who's naturally sort of nitpicking lines of reasoning?? picking one weird explanation and then ignoring so much else, like not really evaluating how villagery the content of peoples' posts look independently

Rolling my eyes at how hard we are stretching arguments to justify calling Egix town. They're not doing anything so they're town, because mafia would be doing something. That is the argument that is being made right now.
